i use the limiter for a while now and i like the sound and the options.
what i really miss, is a bypass-option for the different stages of the limiter, to compare easily what they contribute to the sound. any chance to get this in a future update?

Which is the 'liar'?
Barricade employes weighting in the correlation (low frequencies get lower weight in computing the correlation) more in line how we perceive the 'width'.
It's also more in line with the actual signals that are for example stored
on vinyl, that are pre-emphasized using RIAA curves.
Auditor is a true correlation meter without weighting but as a result of this, the correlation is heavily dominated by low frequencies. These are usually 'mono', thus auditor will mostly show a higher correlation value than barricade...

BTW:
+1.0 = minimum stereo (mono)
-1.0 = maximum stereo (separation)
They're the same as for both meters. Aren't they?

Exactly: maximum is always +1 (identical signals, but levels may still be different).
Minimum is always -1 (out-of-phase signals, but levels may be different).
The tricky part is zero input. In that case the correlation
is undefined ( 0 devided by 0 ). Both plugins will regard anything
below about -100 dB full scale as 'zero' (only for correlation measurement;
this is different for noise shaping and dithering for example).
Barricade will then converge to correlation 0, auditor to 0.5 since they handle very, very small sample values slightly different.

Wouldn't it be nice to add an option to enable weighted correlation in Auditor Pro, too? It sounds quite useful as a metering aid.

similarly as barricade (correlation converging to zero)
to make both more in line.

About the peak read out (both barricade & auditor):
As for others standard peak readout, it keeps the hig value until a new higer peak comes. But what about the refresh time if no higer peak comes?: Would it be cool clicking somewhere over the meter for a quick refresh? Actually you can get something similar by switching "Slow" on/off (auditor).. but barricade?: I'm afraid that switching buttons while it's processing the signal could generate some clicks(?)
