I just installed my SampleTron
but I don't see any combis...now, I installed this over the demo so it may have screwed it up a bit. Can anyone tell me if there are combis and I need to re-install?

Hi beergeek,
I had my Sampletron on Tuesday & I made a copy of the demo sounds and placed them in my SampleTank 2.5 library. Allen told me that the SampleTron Combis have to be made up so all we have to do is wait for a little longer and we'll have them at our avail. That said, I totally agree that the SampleTron is way over the top in sick, nostalgic and downright memorable tones! What a brilliant collection. I now have all the Sample Tank spin-offs so I'm in tall cotton as they say. Enjoy!
Best,
Dean

I know that you will "Get 50 free additional exclusive patches if you buy SampleTron on esoundz.com". I would think that these are combis (.ikmp) rather than Instrument presets (.stip) as Sonic Reality has done for other products.
But, do you mean that there arew no combis with the standard SampleTron product?

If you bought it from www.esoundz.com we're giving away 50 free combis at the end of the month.beergeek wrote:I just installed my SampleTronbut I don't see any combis...now, I installed this over the demo so it may have screwed it up a bit. Sorry for bumping this old thread but I was wondering about the SampleTron combis too..
I downloaded my free SampleTron after buying SampleMoog from esoundz but like beergeek I noticed there are no combis for SampleTron or did I miss something?

I got SampleTron recently (with SampleMoog) and while SampleMoog had combis, SampleTron did not. Guess it's correct, there are no combis bundled with SampleTron.

None bundled with SampleTron but we have some from esoundz. Ask Allen to put them into your user area if you bought SampleTron from esoundz. If you didn't then you can buy them from esoundz or... and here's a little tip, when you buy something else especially if it is a couple of things then just ask Allen to throw them in (even if you already bought SampleTron from somewhere else). Example: Let's say you're buying a plug-in and a sample set completely unrelated. If you talk to Allen and say "Hey man, if I get these can you hook me up with the SampleTron combis for free?" He will. But of course if you just bought SampleTron from esoundz in first place it's a lot easier. I thought they were put into the esoundz user area automatically even. Have to check on that. Then once you have them you just drag the IKMP files into the SampleTron Presets folder.

I had been unable to decide if I'd go for the July-August IK campaign, and at the time I finally decided to go, I bought it from my local store because it was the last minutes.Squids wrote:None bundled with SampleTron but we have some from esoundz.
BTW, I should have checked up this Squids' post (and entire thread), I, too, had been wondering if my downloaded S-Tron missed something or not. The post clarified it perfectly.
S-Moog and S-Tron are very nice, the only problem is that I am a bit too busy with my daytime job and have almost no spare time to play with those new toys.
