Back in the 70's it was Penguin's in Bondage. In these more enlightened and animal liberation theory informed days, we settle for Tambourines clamped to within an inch of their lives onto a knurled rod.shogger wrote:Yeah, but does it sound like an 1176? We beat them with drum sticks and, judging by the permanent smile shape they are cast in, they seem to like it, which, as I'm sure you'll appreciate, kind of defeats the purpose. In view of this, we only hit them sparingly and at moments when they least expect it.

do you use an artificial room on it? Maybe an 5sec 80ies reverb? Should be cool when played seldomly.

This is one conspicuous advantage of my proximity to Antarctica. I believe that nuns have been employed as substitutes in the northern hemisphere although that progression is one one might wish to avoid.Penguins: Never tried them. They're not easy to get here.
The Doobie Brothers' album What were once vices are now habits was actually a cautionary tale directed at Frank Zappa and other erstwhile aptenodytophiles. Everything might be jimdandy when you start off with the penguins but its odds on you'll be all messed up on nuns before long. Just say no.
