It's great, HG. :)

I know you have been under pressure to get this done, and you still got it out before your estimated delivery date of Saturday. Fantastic!

I have a couple of requests I hope you will consider. I'm keeping in mind that you rushed to improve this, and you may be planning some tweaks anyway.

Many (most?) of the new one-shots in the default presets come in at high volume. I'd rather they start at medium or low volume so they are not so prominent. I suppose I can fix the presets and re-save them, and I'll try that later.

Also, it seems that the transition from one preset to another while TDM is playing is less smooth. I think it may be caused by the one-shots starting immediately upon a preset change. That, and their relative high volume, seem to cause a jarring interruption when a preset is changed. In the earlier version the change was seamless. I think this may be cured by preventing the one-shots from triggering at the start of a sequence.

I like the new layout. Everything I need is still there. The central SF2 load menu is handy, and neatly stacked with the Global Lazy and multi-out. I have to play with the multi-outs later.

And I'll repeat myself, the Wetgate TDM-Anomaly soundset is a wonderful addition to TDM, and well worth the $30. I hope people support TDM with more soundsets.

Oh, and it's nice to have that charming Russian girl back!

Nice work!

Please send me the presetbank after You've changed levels at the OneShot part.

Actually it's not been meant to use preset change on the fly while playing ..
meanwhile You might use a workaround: set first and last step to 100 = Mute/Skip then this should be silent again.

The Dreammachine - The Art of Saving the Human race :-)

Please don't miss this one:
Nothing to worry about, don't be afraid of all those matrix-numbers: just click 'Glbl Lazy' and play the game. Change soundbanks.sf2 (full version) and you'll run another brand new dream! It can also auto-randomize itself (LpLazy and Random Play Loop): flowing dreams for ever!!

Fortune, I may have confused WoF with TDM as far as seamless patch changes is concerned. But, I am getting more pleasing results in TDM by saving patches with the one-shot volume reduced and the first and last patterns set to 100.

I'll send my edited bank in a bit.

I'm a little confused about editing banks in TDM. I've altered a couple presets (patches) and saved the total as a new bank. But now I can't seem to load the default factory bank. Where is it?

I now see a bank with the default patches, plus my two added at the end.

How would I restore the default bank?

Also, how can I find out what each of the sequencer steps contain? I mean the numbered boxes on the left side of each section.

Thanks!

The default bank is stored internally - so this will not get lost at all. Start the Dreammachine in an empty project and simply save the bank e.g. as TDM-internal.fxb

The numbers indicate the waves on that step. If You are not sure what wave is related to a number click on the wave name display to look for the name or have a look at the manual which contains lists of the waves. As of compability to 3rd party sf2 files it is not possible to have name displays at the steps.

got it..love it...dead easy to do ambient soundscapes (in key) now!

had created a 'dream machine' out of reaktor 5's droners (skrewell, space drone, & metaphysical), but not being able to make them track on note rendered them pretty useless. also, all three seems to be too much.
overthrow KRAPITALISM ! you have nothing to lose but your claims.

I was just thinking that some 'Dalek' like vocal phrases might be great for the oneshot part. You know the Dalek type in Dr. Who. In fact many types of modified or robotized but still understandable voices will be useful.
Or, maybe HG you can expand that part so it's got some decent FX for this mods - just asking :D
