He's the astronaut that had the 'spiritual epiphany' while flying to the moon - and looking back at Earth.musikmachine wrote:It's amazing what a search on youtube can throw up. i was searching for vids on omnisphere and came across this
It's Edgar Mitchell in a kerrang radio interview confirming alien contact that has been covered up by the military. I'm just saying what it is, please don't flame me! I don't know how credible he is but he was one of the apollo 14 astronauts.

On the way home from the beach I was listening to Laraaji's Day of Radiance (Ambient Music #3 produced by Eno) so I looked him up on youtube today:
He talks about how he picked up playing zither, the spiritual aspects of his music and then performs some. Too bad they didn't get all the performance. Zither and various sound making things run through FX. Pretty good stuff.

I remember seeing this in 1979/80 (aged 8/9) and it scared the life out of me. I think along with 'Building Sites Bite' it was one of the most horrific things that a Public Information Film could be. If you get over the fashions and Children's Film Foundation acting, you find a very macabre piece of film which is just timeless horror up there with some of the greats.
I can't watch it all, just a few excepts is enough to bring the terror back to mind.

having left the u.k. in 1980 and finding that viewing television from this period has been extremely fulfilling, i did start to watch this.duncanparsons wrote:part1:

Still a classic.1-2-Many wrote:
Those warning vids are definitely nothing for me. Watch some episodes from the old "Notruf" episodes from Germany, and you get the same spooky and gross crap. Like blown off hands, a fork in shinbone, etc. Wuah.
