Hey
i didn't listened to all the samples on your webpage : they sound great !

The "medium bright" is a bit boingy, nearly springy

The Taj Mahal is a nice, wide and lush one, too. I am wondering : is it only a name, or is it modelled after some accurate specifications of the Taj ? I am asking this, because i went to visit it some weeks ago, and i was blown by the sound i could hear inside : the sounds gets heavily modulated, with weird pitch-shifting haunting echoes, a bit like Shepperd tones drones...
I wasn't allowed to record anything, but i wish i could have made or modelled some impulses or just record the ambient sound...

Will there have a "width" parameter ?

Cheers !

no, not at all. Will post here again, when the test finally starts.

Haha, there are two ER's in the set which are more into the weird side of reverb. I've used one of them in that example.

Don't know which device you are refering to. However the example of mine is just one which resembles those typical XXL size things found in almost all devices.

It features Mid:Side tuning so this will do the job.

First thrilling news of the day ;)
Big wide lush is good, small discrete rooms are okay too, but weird is much appreciatede icing on the cake (and modulated springy boingy ER are always very well welcome on my plugin fodler!) !

I am refering to the real Taj Mahal building. i understand your preset name is only a hint to the real place, but i can guarantee that listening to the way the sound moves and changes inthe real place in India is really worth the experience.

Hi Bootsy,
slightly off subject but I tried your "Density" plug in yesterday which is really nice, however my cpu was jumping all over the place and eventually crashed my Nuendo 3.2 system. I have tried both your first and updated versions and both have the same problem, unstable cpu usage. Any ideas?

This is off-topic here - so please report that in the Density thread or just PM me and then in addition: Your PC type, OS and version, samplerate used in the host and please some more info on the context as: Occures only to *this* very Plug-In, other bootsy Plug-In's, other SM-Plug-In's as well or in general?
Is your CPU SSE2 compatible?
That all would be helpfull!

thanks,

edit 09/17:

Sound engine evolved and is soundwise stable so far (hope so), different early reflection models assembled as well as a second reverb algorithm. GUI is still late. Ah, included different LF treatment of reverb time ...

And a small additional demo using the actual sound engine (3min) is included here featuring some more acoustic instruments:>>> here <<<

Some big spaces are really nice :tu:

Remind me sometimes of spring models.
