I wonder if there is something wrong with the width parameter in RescueAE? It seems not be doing anything at all, while with the old Rescue you can hear it immediately.
cheers

Hi Bootsie. Thanks for these updates to the great plugins!

Am I right in saying that the two new versions of Rescue are the same but the AE version has the Black GUI and 4x oversampling?

If this i the case, would it be possible for you to add the presets from 1.2.1 to the AE version aswell? I find your presets very helpful and would appreciate being able to use these in the AE version.

Ok I missed that!

There is only one preset in the AE version though compared to several in the other 1.2.1 version.

Hi

One stupid tech talk question : what is the advantage at oversampling a dynamic processor like Rescue ?
(i think i get it for equing and the Nyquist thing, but when it comes to compressors / transient designers / mid-side processors, what kind of unwanted artifacts / ringings could we get ?)

Thank you !

Bootsie your plugins r amazing,Great tools 4 adding that special something 2 the sound......THANX!!!!!!

Hi Bootsie,

I noticed that in RescueAE version 1.2.1, the GAIN control in the MID section is missing the dB level markers on the GUI. The SIDE section has the GAIN control dB level marked 0dB, +6dB, on the GUI. I was wondering if this was done intentionally by design? If so, are the gain control values on the MID section the same as the gain control values on the SIDE section?

This is a nice effect tool for adjusting the stereo spatial image of my tracks. Thank you for your hard work and generous contributions.

Kind Regards,

Sprout

Just my failure, I will add that in an update somewhere in the future.

The softlimiter in the M/S section takes advantage of the oversampling. So the distortion is much smoother in the AE Version.
