Hey Arie, were you able to save/salvage your new Red Amp from your hard drive crash?

I know not everyone can have 2 computers, or even a spare old one lying around, but it has been a life saver to have an extra computer plus an external enclosure to hookup a hard drive to recover data. Never reformat a hard drive if you think it crashed and you lost all your data (not backed up on your main OS drive), it might be able to be salvaged by hooking it up as a slave drive or into an external enclosure on another computer.

Yes, I got my VST data back include The Red Amp.

Thank you, I'll making a monthly backup from now. That was close.

Man, aradaz, this thing is one of a few that REALLY makes me regret having switched to OSX.
Easily the most dynamic ampsims there are.

Fortunately, my live setup is based on my old Windows laptop, but so far I'm using GR3 in standalone mode, so I can't use VSTs. Will have to think about another host, though. We'll see.

OK I tried Aradaz's Green and White Amp today for the first time.

Wow. Really amazing. I really had no idea a VST amp sim could sound this good. Especially a free one.
