I agree. Thanks very much for this. I don't really know what it does internally, but does good things on full mixes here.K-Slash wrote:NastyVSD it da bomb !
Honestly, this things kicks ass.
Really great on full mixes, but also very useful for fatening drums.

All sound quality as usual bootsy and just to let you know: all your plug-ins have worked in Pro Tools using the VST To RTAS Adapter version 2.1 by FXpansion.
(That was all tested this afternoon for around three hours and working at 16-Bit/44.1Khz and using M-Powered version 7.4 Cs 2. However it is not an in-depth test anyway but if they carry on the way they have been doing when wrapped i will keep you posted) - I am not saying i want RTAS & AS versions, but i always wrap my top 30 or so VST only plug-ins and hope that they will work in PT and well just thought you would like to hear about it. Did i mention that they sound pretty good too?
Cheers & Best Regards

I'm not even sure if it was in this thread or one of the others. You could always try it out...

Thanks for the new plug's, as already mentioned CS is Da Bomb!
Just wanted to report that I was unable to correctly render a 16/44 wave file with CS applied in Sound Forge 8. File always sounded like it had a slap-back delay applied?
Same file with CS applied rendered correctly in Wavosaurs.
Just wanted to mention that CS applied to my vocal tracks gives me a sound reminiscent of my old Tascam 4 track cassette with dbx. That was the only time my vocals sounded half way decent. Many thanks for getting that mojo into a .dll
My wish list..That I could see the little hash mark on the outer bands when they are in the shadow of the inner knob. Not so much for position but just to tell that I actually have control as its kind of a small area to grab.
Having said that your GUI's are beautiful.
Thanks again!

As someone who owns a lot of expensive toys including hardware and UAD plugs
I am happy to say that I'm very impressed with:
NastyVSD and Rescue
Outstanding work!
I will be using these

Well, you're not much of a welcomming committee. I've been around for a while and most people here are helpful. You, on the other hand, are like a retard that puts his finger up his ass and then shoves it up people's noses to let them know his fanny is dirty.shogger wrote:Yes, let someone else apply the search function for you! I thought they banned you?
Or did the null test reverse their decision?

I can't believe I've never checked bootsie's plugs till now.
I guess I've been put off by some previous freebie plugs I've tried (not bootsies) after reading about them in this effects forum, but I'm glad I decided to check this out.
These are excellent at ANY price range, let alone free!. Superb work bootsie

FANTASTIC PLUGINS!!!
thanks SO much for making these free. you really should get a web site for these things... didn't some guy offer to make you one in some other thread?
the NastyCS sounds way better than many other eq and distortion plugins i have tried. i have a few comments:
1. how come the highpass also boosts around the freq so much? if i want to cut out the bass, i may not want such a boost to occur as well. did you find this was the best shape for the highpass filter? i am wondering how not having the boost would effect the sound? maybe this boost is best, i was just wondering your reasons.
2. the little black line on the dials to grab is quite hard to see, could it be bigger/more contrast or something?
3. when you press the drive button and turn up the drive you can see visually on the meters how much distortion you get as it goes into the red. now when you turn down the gain the meters also go down and you don't see the overdrive. it would be great to be able to view the original signal overdrive level with a toggle button, or maybe some other way?
4. when you turn up the drive, and turn down the gain by the same amount you get a good level match for deciding on the distortion effect. it would be cool if there was an automatic gain adjustment that did this for you.
THANKS again for this excellent set of plugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for NastyLF and NastyTableTop - I've been trying to get that full, rich, depth in the lows and mids using Ozone3 harmonic distortion for a coupla years now in my remasters. Nice to be able to dial it in within a minute or 2 now...

For all that is good and right, please to not change anything about NastyCS. It's perfect. Gives me the old, smeary tape-recorded-with-dolby-B-on-tape-played-back-with-dolby-B-off sound of my teenage years.
I still think, your punctuation sucks, and your spelling isn't cool! So there...
