mike, the difference here is obvious. i lead a capitalist democracy where everyone has freedom to do as they wish. i don't charge anyone anything, no taxes, and i provide most of the services they ask for if they really need them and can't provide them themselves.

you lead a communist dictatorship where you send people to siberia to work in your ice mines digging their own graves if they don't like the way you do things. you also tell them they should be grateful to pay you their lives in return for.. their lives.

Nobody works for me AD. Just the opposite, in fact.

Poly-Ana doesn't actually have a lot of problems at this point. After almost 2 years on the market we're pretty much fresh out of bugs, and CPU usage has improved drastically since it was first released.

As far as GUI functionality, find me another product that supports all three knob modes (linear, circular, and circular relative) and that lets you switch between them ON THE FLY. Just one... name one...

Poly-Ana is about the most complete product I know of. Thanks for bringing it up. But back to "your" product (which isn't even yours anymore, apparently it's everyone's BUT yours responsibility to maintain it.. and when they do, they uncover giant gaffs like the 256 value parameter quantization.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Now get back to work on your XHip GUIs everyone. :lol:

AQ, if you look around a little, I'm sure you can find plenty of synths (even some that people pay for) that are way more worthy of your venom than Xhip...
I don't remember seeing you criticize any synth other than Xhip, so what is your point?
We all realize Xhip has some shortcomings. All synths do to some extent (yes. even yours). That doesn't keep us from using it.

I don't know, I've never been able to figure out the ban logic around here -- Meffy says one thing then acts another way -- and don't really care one way or the other what they who run this site do or the reasons they tell themselves that they do it. But I will pop in once in a while to criticize AD when he's being abusive to his "customers", and to of course point out that, you get what you pay for.
