I put this short, lighthearted, song together as my entry for Precisionsound's demo contest. It's only 1:30 long because that's the max length they are accepting. I think it sounds kinda fun. :)

very groovy, ugo. A great commercial sound - I mean that as a mixing/sound compliment! it sounds very polished, and I could envision suits wanting this backing their product. Love the interplay with the vocals in the background. Fun stuff!

Thanks, I'm glad you dig it. :) I'm also happy to hear that you think the mix sounds good. Several of the instruments in there occupy a similar space so I paid a little extra attention to the mix on those to try to keep them working together without blurring together.

oh man, this is beautiful and quite transparent!

Really not bad. In fact, it's quite good. ;) I like it. Nice ethnic tune.

Sounds very good - definitely puts the precisionsound libraries in a nice light.

Jeez, what a clear mix. I, of course, am a sucker for "world" instruments set to PE beats!

"Loops - Public Enemy Sampledome" <--------cool! I want this.

You and Luigi should do a collab. There's something vaguely similar in your styles I can't quite put my finger on.

Thanks guys. :)

Soundsonline are blowing it out for only $10. If you like the sound of PE beats, it's well worth buying. I've got more mileage out of that CD than probably any other loop library I've bought over the years. Those beats just work so well for me. It's an audio cd so you'll have to chop it up, but that is easily taken care of by using a ripper to convert the tracks to wav, then using Waveknife to split the loops out of them.

From the tracks of his I've heard, I know what you mean. A colab with him could be very interesting.

Oh damn I almost bought it cept it's more for FedEx than for the 2 CDs!

Perhaps someday when I feel the need for the "pop brass" - I'm waiting to see what Kontakt has in store for me ;)

PM luigi. When he's not drunk, raving, and shooting up his crew of animators he's actually a nice guy. Shit, I'm supposed to be laying down vocals for him and I've only time to troll for the next 5 days!

Shipping is more than the CDs? That sucks. They've had it on blowout for an eternity and they keep lowering the price. I figure it's at rock bottom now but hopefully they'll still have it around when they next do one of their big sales. That way maybe you'll find enough other things to get at a decent price that the ratio of shipping costs to items will be more reasonable.
