MY VSTGUI does.aciddose wrote:if "supports three knob modes" is all you have, i can one-up you with circular, circular relative, linear x, linear y, linear relatives. does vstgui (which you didn't even write) have circular relative? what, no? aww..
And, VST only defines those three modes. You're free to add more, of course, but the host has no way of communicating it's preference then (so many plugins and hosts ignore this though that many people don't even know you're supposed to set the knob mode in the host, that's why Poly-Ana lets you override the knob mode in it's Options dialog.)
Maybe you should TRY my product before badmouthing it with more of your lies. Your BS and lies are exactly why I post in here.
Now, back to work on my new product. I'm almost done the GUI. That means I can start work on the sound soon (far easier that way, do the tedious part first. Then the GUI is there for you to work with, like a REAL user, as you develop the DSP code.)

Well, you just WERE arguing with me. But OK, if you agree then I've made my point.aciddose wrote:nobody is going to argue with you about how great poly-ana is, we just want you to go away and mind your own damn business.
(Oh I almost forgot the knob detents feature! Got those?
Oh and ctrl-click centering -- to the actual default position of each control, not necessarily zero.)

As far as I can tell, no one had mentioned Polyanna in this thread (recently, anyway), until you showed up. Kindly show me the "BS and lies" you're referring to.AdmiralQuality wrote: Maybe you should TRY my product before badmouthing it with more of your lies. Poly-Ana has a parameter display, as well as tooltips, that provide feedback for any control you're manipulating. So there's actually 3 places on the screen at any given time to get visual feedback, 2 of which are precise. (And with 360 frames of knob animation, the rotation looks pretty damn precise too!)Kriminal wrote:with knobs you can actually read?AdmiralQuality wrote:

jupiter8, come on now don't attack mike for that. my grandmother likes it FOR THAT VERY REASON. she doesn't need to wear her reading glasses to use mike's gui on her 40x40 ft projector.
