i really like branis gui ( i suggested a similar gui with exactly the same knobs 2 yars ago)...but to me gsto proto3 gui IF MADE BIGGER is just perfect .

Then there's this... why are you guys even discussing this here? AD refuses to accept responsibility for it.

It's because he can't prove it. Did you know that I has cookie? But I eated it. No proof, you'll just have to believe me I guess.

I'm glad my opinion doesn't matter though because I would have pictures of naked women ALL OVER this forum if I did. But then AQ would probably complain that their "big girl parts" don't contain enough resolution for a mouse to click on them.....

ive witnessed your approach with paying customers, which aside from the awful gui and the so so sound gives me no desire to support you.

i'm sure it can be resized a little, we should just try to get the normal sized version working first - and plus his design isn't even finished yet maybe he'll make the final one bigger. i assure you sc your point is well noted

i'm discussing with branis now and trying to help him get the things he needs to start working on his design. i'll get everything ready for him to tweak it so that he can "maintain" the design if anyone wants different features.

when i said i have no interest in creating or maintaining a gui, i didn't mean i can't help to get you guys started when you design your own. i just meant i don't want to be responsible for the gui if it isnt my own design. my own design.. ok it's pretty bad, but i like it. people seem pretty satisfied with it at this point also and in addition they'll probably just use some other gui once there are a lot of guis available.

like i said, you just need to ask nicely each designer about issues with their own designs. it isnt that i can't do it.. i can change gsoto's gui to be pink and have wood grain textures if you want. it just isn't my design. i respect that it is his design and so he will be the one to change things, not me. with branis' design i like it quite a lot, but i don't like the colors or the fact it says "virtual analog" (in fact i hate that

) but it is HIS DESIGN. he will decide what it says or what colors to use, not me.

I should have actually said that I was too lazy to go past the first page of Google. But I'm disappointed in myself though. As my "customers", I probably owe you more than that. Instead, I had you do the work for me. Somebody famous once told me "you get what you pay for".

i read on previous pages u gonna help branis implement his GUI. thats great.
branis GUi is perfect size allready and very usable on any screen.
so ill be very happy to see his gui implemented. (after all i wanted a gui like that since 2 years).

but theres something about gtso's design which is inspiring (something that breaks the mould and looks unique)and also more in line with xhips history....and u know he wont bother with the programming part....so someone will have to help him.

Bit of paranoia, it seems. Apparently, AD is making a synth specifically to rival his, I'm on a mission to make his synth seem bad, and Meffy is on a mission to prevent him from getting word out about his synth.
