so many ideas of what to do with Alchemy.... i'd love to have it now, even as a beta.. hell! i'd pay hard cash for a beta!!!

. I look forward to demoing it, i'm pretty sure i'll buy it sooner or later tho. Looks like it will compliment what i already own nicely. Congradulations Camel Audio, Looks like a Killer is about to be released!

I'm grabbing both. They are so completely different, new and innovative. Helix has these unheard of high's and distortions, and alchemy is going to be sampling on steroids. Usually, I would just commit to one or the other, but in this case... I think both synths are must haves.

I know they are working very hard to get it out and to get it right--but in case the world economy collapses soon, they might want to get Alchemy out the door sooner rather than later.

arrrgggg!!!! i cant stand the hype and the silver gui its like its calling to me but.... I... just got... Omnisphere but Alchemy is only $125 with Chameleon.. its killing me!!!!!

When will Alchemy be released?
It will be available later this Autumn (2008). As ID Software (creators of Doom and Quake and generally great software engineers) always used to say, it will be released when its ready - in other words, when we've polished every last little corner. Thank you for your patience.

That's all we can give right now. However, rest assured, we are working VERY hard to get it out as soon as possible!

I can think of at least two recent big releases - they are both quite buggy - I don't like waiting ... but then I don't like the frustration of software that might be considered to be released in a state of beta either.

Best get it as close to 'right' as possible before releasing it: IMO.

Yup, and don't worry there's a lot of people beta testing this thing, a lot of sound designers testing it too who push the synth hard, so by the time its ready for release it should be pretty damn stable

I'd be happy if they released the beta to the public... It is only a problem when it is called finished and it is a beta!
