only thing that throws me off is the scale of the amp to the cab

Yeah, it's really well rendered and looking pretty cool. Also, lots of innovation involved with the UI. Must be fun.
But I fear that there'd be so much eye candy and tweakability, that I personally would forget to *play* my axe actually ('erm...wait... how does this one sound...not bad... but... next one...hm...cool...wait... what about...17cm mic position...').
I'm still not that convinced by getting so many options for such a relatively simple job (1 amp, 3 cabs and 2 mics would be enough for me, considering all being top-notch and working well together). 'Overwhelmed' might be the word, but perhaps I'm getting old
If the sound flashes me, I'd perhaps vote for a 'TH-1 light'

Sounds good. How does it compare to Amplitube, Revalver, GearBox etc?dimitar wrote:One more http://nalbantov.com/TH1_Balad.mp3
The guitars are not processed with any other plugins

Amp-sims have their place, but still dont beat the real thing.
In this case , high-gain sounds a little better than others, the cleans still sounds "fake".
But like others users, I really wish they could get at least 3 basic amps right.

I still explore the plugin...BUT finally a plug in with real Cab-Speaker emulation and MIC choices. You can move the microphones in 3D dimension. Can choose the acoustic of the room where is the cabinet. Also it is really light on the CPU... You can get any sound with two Mics and the cabs...the chain system is mind blowing ...I will report morecwig wrote:Sounds good. "You can move the microphones in 3D dimension"
Already done :
http://softube.se/vintage_amp_room.php
http://softube.se/metal_amp_room.php
But no mic selection.
Maybe thats why TH1 took more time: its a resume of the best features in other amp-sims.
But my thing is TONE and FEEL.
