As did I (see my post).:10: wrote:RMV Loop Library Installer 500
I keep getting a "file contains invalid data" error when running the installer.
However, re-downloading, and reinstalling (not uninstalling) solved it for me.
I should add:
PC, 2G RAM, Dual-Core (Intel).
I have 3 SATA drives (300G each). I put the libs on my E: drive - if that matters. Perhaps non "C:" installs have problems?

Thank you Matt,
Consider it fixed in 5.0.1
Confirmed , all sends do not go anywhere else than there where send 1 goes.emtear wrote: 1. Send 2 output destination does not work proper

First, RMV does not allow classic automation (as RMV just exceeds any handable amount of parameters by lightyears), but only automation via MIDI CC. However, ECS seems to work nice. Have you clicked the "ECS" letters to open the menu ?emtear wrote:2. When I browse parameters there is no list like in RM IV and ECS menu does not pop up...

Hello,
strangely enough, RM V worked on my system only for one day, that was when I had only installed the program and the Drum library, not the Loop Library. After installing the Loop Library, loading RM V produces the following error message:
The Syncrosoft License download worked alright though, and the License Control Center normally shows the "RM V upgrade" license, so everything happens only when I actually load RM V in Cubase Studio.
I don't have any problem with other Syncrosoft protected programmes (licenses are on the same "dongle").
I un- and reinstalled RM V and the libraries, which didn't help.
My system: Pentium IV single core (3,2 Gh); 1,5 Gb RAM; Cubase Studio 4.
Any help would be very much appreciated. I can't use RM V at all at the moment. Strangest thing is that it all worked before I installed the loop library.
Cheers, Volker

After that the RM V GUI will open nevertheless, knobs work, but RM V won't load any files (kits, loops or anything). If I try to load anything, neither RM V nor Cubase Studio 4 won't respond any more. After closing down Cubase Studio, the Syncrosoft License Control Center won't work any more either until system restart (which means I cannot restart Cubase Studio any more either).Applikation 'RMV 5' hat den folgenden Fehler verursacht:

9) Well, thats a good idea, we should be able to add this
10) Yes, thats how it works. However, i doubt many people do 1 slice
Best
Pete

Hi Peter
I cant get any sound out of RMV with my controller keyboard!
The plugin generates sound OK when I click the pads or program it, but I just cant 'play' it with my fingers - can you look into this?
I am using Live 7.0.10 and WinXP Pro SP3 with an intel X9650 quad processor, 4GB RAM. My controller is a Novation Remote61SL and I have a Mackie Onyx firewire interface on my mixer for my soundcard.
Cheers!

I've verified this and its exactly what RMV does, however, the host might overwrite this channel informationgrymmjack wrote: i dont know if it's possible to embed channel data into the mid, but if it is, it would make sense to make the drag/drop'd midi file that loop generates for slicing/timing to actually reside on the "SETUP" page's loop midi channel - this way it's not drag/drop and then silence and confusion.

Hi Adam !
Ok, have you been sending the data on channel 10 ? Or the respective channel for the loops ?
I know this is kind of hidden stopp, however, I dont know how to overcome this, with so many triggers we need to react only on certain channels.

interesting. i'll try it in some other hosts. i figured live would maintain the embedded channel stuff, but i guess it does not.Peter from LinPlug wrote:I've verified this and its exactly what RMV does, however, the host might overwrite this channel informationgrymmjack wrote: i dont know if it's possible to embed channel data into the mid, but if it is, it would make sense to make the drag/drop'd midi file that loop generates for slicing/timing to actually reside on the "SETUP" page's loop midi channel - this way it's not drag/drop and then silence and confusion.

So RMV only uses midi CC. In RMIV there was a list of all parameters so when I could not find the list I tought I was missing something.Peter from LinPlug wrote:Thank you Matt,

And yes I found the pop up menu... Never had to use that before...

Well, you dont HAVE to use the ECS menu, you can click right on the light to switch learn on or off. But I guess you meant you used the hosts parameter automation before

I must really have my idiot hat on here and be missing something.
When i drag a loop's midi to a clip in Live and trigger it, it plays back
the original loop AS WELL as any reordering i attempt to do in the midi clip itself, resulting in a phasey doubled mess.
This also happens if i don't re-sequence the midi.
Is this a bug or am i doing something wrong?
Neil

You should turn off the host sync control. It's the "H" button next to the "Play/Stop" button.macmurphy wrote:I must really have my idiot hat on here and be missing something.
