Ok geniouses, what time signature is this ? I try to count but loose the groove after a while. I little voice in my head says it's just ordinary 4/4 but i don't listen to voices in my head anymore. Bad things tend to happen.
Time signature mystery.

The cycle consists of three time signature changes:
a) one bar of 15/8 in 3,3,3,3,3
b) one bar of 6/8 in 2,2,2
c) two bars of 8/8 in 2,2,2,2 each
The intro has 2 cycles and then enters the verse with the same structure.

isn't it simply 13/8 alternating with 9/8?
edit: nope - geroyannis is right, it seems - I started stretching my 'beats' while counting to make them fit

I don't hear that in the melody's accents.jens wrote:isn't it simply 13/8 alternating with 9/8?
In what eighth note groupings would you divide the 13's and the 9's?

I edited my post
but in any case I would divide the pattern into two bars of different length - with them alternating according to the main chord change...
