may be you are interested in my software project syncmaker PRO

syncMaker PRO is a unique media play that can run as many DVD, DivX, AVI, DV, VOB, WAV, AC3 or MP3 - Files as you like synchronously on different computers that are connected over you LAN or over Null-Modem connections via COM-Ports. Each file can be assigned to a Hotkey or Midi-Key for live multichannel VJ interaction.

syncMaker is designed for media and art installations or live performances where more than one Video or Audio File has to be played synchronous on different computers. The synchronization works via your LAN (TCP/IP ) or via a simple Null-Modem cable (connected at the COM Ports).

I was wondering if you are still actively developing this software. We are preparing a couple of projects and would like to buy some licenses, but we are wary to the fact of software that could become obsolete.

Hey syncMaker and crusher users,

don't panic! I'm not completely eaten by the major software industry There will be bigger updates on syncMaker and crusher this year! I'm currently reworking the codebase and in near future syncmaker and the crusher will be fresher than ever. Both programs are more than stable and robust at the moment so I decided to invest my time in deeper work. Also working on website / marketing relaunches as well as on more and better tutorial stuff.

And as it was in the past: support and service is fast and constructive on all versions.
