i am beginning to think we have mined every damn thing on the net...
and then i find a new vein to mine.
rock on bro
john1e something like audacity, wavosaur, kristal audio engine, mulab - are all freeware and vst plug-in hosts (as the majority of all these pages like jimi said are mainly plug-ins and 97% at least are totally free (i thought you meant in general: sorry bout that mate). As long as you have Cycling '74's Pluggo Runtime (as quite a few are built using Max/MSP then you will be good to go man.
Dont worry jimi, when the plug-ins go a bit dry then we will strike with the drum machines and take it from there (as there has been quite a few samplers pop up along with synths so we need to feed the samplers some shots). So i should have that sorted by the end of the week (need 5 or 6 more kits and i have 20 potential kits that i dug out but i have to check if they are fair game first). After drum machine hits we could go for all manner of sounds for pumping through the samplers if we have time and keep em on mediafire? so they are all in one place
...until the last grave is empty mate![]()

thxbelieve these are fresh, Dreaddd!!!
nice find mate!!!
but i think i had them already some ago from an old link of this thread, maybe even one of those posted by you (sorry i m starting to lose the count of the URL we posted in the thread
BTW can you confirm the webarchive is acting strangely lately ? sometimes gives me headaches with an URL , right after 15 minutes the same URL refused by the site , can be viewed...
i think they are redirecting from webarchive main page thru several servers to split the huge traffic , but some of them are working not so well (my guess, at least)
Peace out

i think we ve hit the nail...too much traffic on webarchive i guess, so theyre doing as much as possible to split it, but sometimes if seems to be failing..
for instance the URL of web archive after hitting search become the IP number and cant view the searched URL , right after i go back to their homepage, put the URL again and it view the stuff as normally should be..duh!
same here anyway: i thought the firefox update screwed some settings (although 3.0.1 and 0.2 had actually some bugs , for instance on 9 (alike) pcs at workplace a couple couldnt update automatically to 0.3 , same happened at my home pc: i had to do it manually )
oh and Jimi : i can confirm i have the Micro Amigo, it was actually uploaded by Spacedad on the former pages of the thread
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/printview ... 407&page=6
..gimme time to find out where i archived it and ill upload it for you

a-HA!! spacedad , you solved the puzzle, i think
another app i need to be forced to abandon/not use with XP
damn! ASAP i gotta set up a mesozoic-age laptop a friend gave me some months ago with a 98SE setup, to be able to use Akai floppies and the other stuff unable to run under xp like this one...i only find out this app when i already had XP going on, so i really could never "taste" it myself..
thx for the reply

There's a trick--That I forgot--but you're xp should tell you this runs on Win98 and would you like to switch to that to operate it. I've done it a few times with no problem.
