for now there is no way to save cc mappings. the implementation is only temporary and will be replaced by "event routing" at some time in the future. the control page settings are not saved yet either.
i'm supposed to be working on that right now but i've been side-tracked by the GUI stuff.

This thread takes too much bandwidth. He can't come back until xhip is finished, and a new smaller thread can then begin.D.J.T. wrote:Can someone explain why aciddose is banned? I've read his recent posts and can't see any ban deserving posts.

Maybe he cooked his goose in this thread and landed a temp ban.?D.J.T. wrote:Can someone explain why aciddose is banned? I've read his recent posts and can't see any ban deserving posts.

Seems ironic really, especially given the AQ incident.aciddose wrote: "so come on, stop being god damn babies and deal with it. you're living in a la-de-daa software fantasy land where the rules of economics and supply vs. demand don't even apply and you're still crying. give me a break?

Sensitive mods for sure.

he told the truth, but it seems that truth somehow skips forums quite often.

I love how inside so many capitalists lurk socialists, waiting to bloom, needing only the pollination of a business venture failed due to the greed of the masses. A parallel on a massive scale can be seen in action in the US government as I type this.
good idea, DJT
feel free to use my overly poetic and pretentious metaphor concerning economic ideology.

he always gets involved in stupid arguments that lead nowhere ...
oh well now he'll hav more time to code and finish off Branis GUI.

And a stupendously good audio programmer! I was flicking through some effects last night and A/B some (including expensive) stuff...I was impressed with the quality of XHIPs effects, particularly when used in series with each otherCharlie wrote:He is bloody entertaining. Top bloke.

http://xhip.cjb.net/temp/public/thingie.mp3
i haven't been working on the xhip stuff the last week, i've had other stuff to do actually. the above is a rhodes 73 mk.1 so now you can't possibly feel sorry for me getting banned anymore
oh i did this up too: http://xhip.cjb.net/temp/public/rhodeser.mpg (6.3mb though)
not to tease you guys, i'm fixing it for a guy and i'll probably just be holding it for a while. (months)
i did the video for somebody else though
before i was banned the limeflavour2 gui was almost completely implemented. it just needs some work on the code for the check boxes since i only made them to contain text to show status - i need to allow an image in there as well. (or just shading, or whatever)
actually i've just given myself a fairly brilliant idea on how to handle that, i won't go into detail. anybody interested will see when i put the code out.
here is what i've done so far, the colors are all flexible i've just got it set internally this way at the moment to his original orange color. it's a matter of changing a single HLS value all the other colors are based off.

http://xhip.cjb.net/temp/public/limeflavour2.xhipgui
so this is mostly functional now, but if you want to actually use it just wait another week or so and i'll have it all finished so limeflavour can tweak things to the way he wants if i made any mistakes.
i still haven't bothered to adjust the settings for the patch selecting drop-listbox but i intend to make it like the other parameter listboxes, black background with a border.
limeflavour; your examples didn't show every possible issue with implementing the gui, maybe you hadn't decided on those things. you can change anything easily when i get you the code - the implementation is quite simple i wasted most of my time doing the background rendering code.

btw the action on this thing SUCKS.
it's a very fast action - good in some ways, but you get a really narrow range of expression. the action is really loose too, so you have to almost fully depress the key before the hammer jumps at the tine, this means you have to REALLY press those keys otherwise you miss notes. it's actually pretty painful to play. i'll have to look into buying myself a suitcase 73 later

welcome back
Branis GUI is where the efforts should be directed imo and what i think everyone is waiting for.
limeflavours GUI to me it makes no sense....its not even a GUI but a frame to a tabbed version of gstos gui.(with worse
sliders, layout and with a few unreadable knobs added)...
but if u enjoy doin it hey...

not sure if Branis is going to implement it or not,
i doubt that AD wants to code every skin himself,
