Phew ! Now finished !
I've tried a lot of versions

This instrumental piece is about the forgotten guys who are dead trying to stop the second nuclear explosion in Tchernobyl.
Only 2.15. Silence, sounds and synthies.

I've look a press report on Dailymotion about this catastrophe. After the catastrophe...
Soldiers, diggers and many others, often they don't know why they work in the destroyed nuclear power station.
Sometimes, they know why, they know that the death was here.
One says : " Otherwise who would have made it ? / Sinon, qui l'aurait fait ?".
Anonym guys. Europa is still here.
Nice, they have had a big prize : they are dead, suffering and suffering again.
Forgotten, oubliés, olvidados. Their bones was red marmalade.
Some people speaking in my piece are from the press report.

Yes, I know, my pieces are joyful ! :) :hihi:

The song : Sinon qui l'aurait fait ?

Like the strings, are they samples or are you using a synth for these, if so, what synth?

Thanks for this, it's a good piece. And the voice samples are used quite correctly and in time for the music movements (do you know Russian?)

It's a SF2. "KBH string". I don't remember where I'd found this soundfont. Do you want it ?

I'm sure we listen the same ghosts in our heads :)
its really very eerie.
Thank's to you

No. The press report had french subtitles.
I think it's a beautiful language, the sound of the words are great.

Hi Daniel,

thanks for the track, it is an impressive one! Finding your track here prompted me to link to a track I created several years ago. It is different from yours, but it has the Geiger-counter and some other elements too. I think yours is better (honestly), but still.

My track is called 'Pripyat' after the little town in the neighbourhood of the plant. Many of the workers that suffered from the fallout came from this village.

You can find the thread here

Bad english language.

My piece isn't better. Our two pieces are not the same, but are on the same way.
Thank's to you for the thread
