what really appeals to me is that omnisphere sometimes seems to go a bit outta control sonically...maybe it is the psycho acoustic stuff that resonates that way...
anyway, taming chaos is often the best way to make exciting stuff imho

Yeah, I was a tiny bit worried as well, but it's so not the case. There's so much organic sounding stuff in there. Think Bill Laswell's Cymatic Scan. Of course there's all the trancey electronica stuff too and everything in between.

Eric thank you for posting more demos which I really enjoyed.
There is some great stuff I could work with.
The only reason I decided to get rid of my hardware at the beginning of the year was in order to buy a new PC and buy Omni and RMX!
I was one of those who moaned about no demos on the release date, but only
because I was so interested in it. So an apology for that, but I hope you realise that SOME of the guys who do criticize are decent and well meaning folk.

Absolutely!

In a perfect world, we could have had every single thing ready on every front. But since our time was tight, we put the priority on finishing the instrument itself and had to push the marketing stuff to the background. So the marketing stuff is happening a little later than we originally planned.

Eric ... a couple of years ago I bought Atmosphere from Spectrasonics and FL Studio from Image Line (I am also from Belgium like Image line )
To this day it is the only software that I needed so much for my music that I had to buy it even though I don't really had the money for it.
I am so glad I saved some money the last year ... and I just upgraded to Omnisphere. (the waiting ... the horror waiting .....will ship in next week I hope)

To help you with the demos you might need some original melody's

So here we go ... i will post a FL studio score file with my own melody.
Its a arpeggio. I found the notes on a piano and completed the score in FL Studio but I have never found a good sound that would do the awesome melody justice.

Its only the first couple of bars that are really awesome ... the rest is not that good.

Have a listen to the score and if you like them maybe one of your guys could give it a kick ass sound ? Maybe really good to make a short demo with a sound that would be perfect for arpeggio ?

I am still a total newbie when it comes to all the technical stuff ... I only have the talent that sometimes I can sit behind the piano ... close my eyes and music flows in to my mind ....

made with only Omnisphere/Trilogy/Stylus RMX
FL Studio peak controllers (8 controllers) for side chaining -->
Kick controls volume of Synth1 and cut off of Synth2 (start at 2:18
Other beats (hi hats and stuff) controls Parametric EQ2 on some frequencies of the spheric sounds in the beginning.
No other FL Studio effects are used ... the other effects are all internal FX of Spectrasonics.

This is a demo ... its NOT finished.

Jazz guitar is my most favorite sound on the moment on Omnisphere !

Omnisphere, once you get the hang of it, makes my producing so much more efficient and speeds up the entire process.

Also the massive database of sounds gives me so much inspiration.
