Right were you picked your RMV there is now also a 5.0.1 beta, with these bugs fixed and new features:
- fixed bug with playback of certain loops (not all slices being played)
- fixed bug with layerd samples (sometimes samples were truncated)
- fixed output selector of send fx (not being working)
- fixed display bug (pad displays sometimes showing garbage after kit load)
- fixed sync problem with Cubase 4 (when starting song from very first bar)
- fixed "Sync to Host" switch (being lost upon reload of a song)
- fixed group editing of outputs
- fixed crash of EQ on certain settings
- fixed copy/paste for pads (not working sometimes)
- increased to 64 voice polyphony
- improved kit loading speed with pad mapper being active
- improved user interface open/close speed
- improved shift drag behaviour
- slices are now not triggered upon selection when the loop is running
- improved "clear kit" function (now initializing all pads)
- new "easy group setting" for slices
- new indicator for currently played slice
- new context menus for availabe search criteria
- new switch in matrix section to switch responce to MIDI velocity
- new copy/paste function for slice parameters

Looking good

Nevermind, found it. I was connecting with a mac to the site and I couldn't see the beta download link. If I connect with the pc I can see it right there. Mac! Does everybody want one?

A couple more for you.
Using the edit "Groups" when playing with a sliced loop ..
Load a loop
Set ALL slices to edit group one
Now, using the right-click-trick, attempt to put an insert effect (Band Pass Filter) on all slices at once.
Most of the values seem to go in OK, Set rate to 1/1 using rt clk, change res, cutoff etc no problem.
Changing the filter TYPE to "Band Pass", however, doesn't affect any other pads in the group (the LP light stays on .. so use the LMB and switch them all to bandpass one at a time for now..).
Playing the loop now though, you'll hear that only ONE of the slices is actually being effected .. even though all the settings seem the same for all slices.
Now if you manually switch each slice Off, then back On (using the onoff switch for slot one on the insert fx panel) then the filters all come to life, and seem to work ok. Therefore the on/off switches, when activated via group by right-click LOOK on, but are in fact OFF. (phew) !!
Similarly, in the mod matrix, Source and Destination are grouped OK, but the actual VALUE isn't. Try to put a random pan on all grouped slices, and you'll see.
Lastly, when playing loops, in Cubase4, using the Host link button in RMV, all is now good, sync wise, whatever bar you start from.
However, change the song-position-pointer while the song is running, and the sync of the RMV loop goes way out.
Possibly not an easy fix that though .. I know that many plugins have trouble following SPP changes with a song playing.
Once the midi is dragged into the host, of course, all is well anyway.
Will hunt for more !!

Still: when I reopen a project, send effects are gone. The send knobs for each pad are still in place but the effects in the send page are off.
Strange thing: if I load a loop then I unload it and save, when I reopen the project the loop is there again.
On the other side, if I use a midi loop, when I reopen the project, no more midi loop, only the kit.

Just tested the fixed output routing.
The routing itself now works! yay
But the display of the Pads isnt updatet properly everytime i change a output
of a certain group. The Pad where im changing the output changes the display too, but approx 2 out of 3 output changes the displays of all the other pads wont show the new output number. When you click on another pad, to change it to E-mode, the display updates and shows the correct number, also closing/reopening the gui will refresh the display of the pads...

Tony, I see the group editing is not being ok; I reworked it almost completely today and it seems to cover all cases now, probably I will do another beta tomorrow or Friday to make sure.

Maybe I get you wrong it seems perfectly fine here, both in Live as well as in Cubase 4 I get my send fx exactly as I saved them with the project., I tried several times, and it always comes up 1:1.biss wrote: Still: when I reopen a project, send effects are gone.

Open RMV.
Load a loop or a kit.
Set some send effect. Turn them on, change settings, etc..
Set the send level of a pad or two.
Save the project and close it. Reopen it
Send levels of pads are in place.
The send effect page is how it is the first time you load RMV. No effects.
