Ahh, the Carpenters - I don't feel guilty about liking their music anymore as I am actually a white middle-aged guy now...Chuck E. Jesus wrote:The Carpenters - Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft

The Carpenters are just plain good, no reason to feel guilty...Karen had the voice of an angel, excellent arrangements by Richard...robojam wrote:Ahh, the Carpenters - I don't feel guilty about liking their music anymore as I am actually a white middle-aged guy now...Chuck E. Yeah, that was more tongue in cheek as they tend to get put in that box of white, middle aged people liking their music.Chuck E. The Human League - Travelogue
I had forgotten now good those guys were at programming synths. Was listening to how they programmed brass sounds and really captured some of the nuances of the actual instruments (and arranged the parts that way too).
Pre-Dare Human League were pretty damn good!
