Can anybody help to program this pluck sound? I've included the best examples of this particular pluck sound, that I am desperate to achieve, think it might be a virus TI patch poss. It just sounds so full and thats what I'm having trouble achieving.

Anyways heres the example - http://media.putfile.com/pluck1

Cheers for any help!

If you think this is reasonably close i can tell you tomorrow how i made it. Needs some sleep now. Good news it's free stuff only. The whole track is made using only free stuff, except for the drum samples.

sounds really close to me

Well crap. The song did'nt save in the state i assumed it would so i'm not completly sure how i did it anymore.

However the plucky sound is Aurugu's Voyager with one of Nolwenn's brilliant presets I thought it was the Retro Bass preset from Bank 1 but on further inspection it isn't. Or i modified it a bit more than i thought. I always play around with the cutoff, envelope mod amount and envelope settings. However i saved the preset here
It's nothing special really. It's just you're average sawtooth bass sound. You could probably come really close with just about any synth however Voyager has some snap and grit that i like and is generally prefered. Think of it as anti bland.

I used Rough Rider on it with the NY Compression preset to give it some more bite (however how much difference that really made i'm not sure.It sounds fine without it too) and MyStran's Tila for some nice long reverb.

Nothing special there really but notice how the TimeHi and EQ High is a bit lower than the mid and low. That was to reduce the brightness of the reverb.

And that was pretty much it.

going by this example (it kinda was what i thought it might be) its basically the old 'faithless pluck'

try Scorpion V4 and there is a preset ready made...

its just saw waves and some verb really
