Yes, of course it's up to dev wether it's payware or freeware, i'm just a huge fan of freeware that cripples it's payware alternatives.

To put it another way, when freeware plugs that makes payware plugs their b*tch!

Keeps the payware devs on their toes.

But that's where the great dev's (bootsie included

) come in, and smack them in the face

with their freeware plugs that are better than what they just paid X amount of dollars for.

Again, free does not = shite.

I like donationware as well. I am broke (as are many of us) but would be more than happy to slide a few bucks/euros to bootsie in appreciation for all of his efforts.

maybe you'll get snapped up by some big commercial developer soon anyway, be showered in money and spend your days(>1 hour a day) programming vsts on your yacht in the caribbean
