Is this the same PowerPC bug mentioned before? Is my system below the minimum requirements. I've had no problems running things on it before.

I am sure, it's the same bug. but i am no coder so i can't answer you this exactly, but i can try out on my old dusty Ibook g4, i am still using that machine for some things and there is logic7 on it.. I will try out and leave a message here...

Since today i cannot start RM5 in Logic8 anymore, i try to open it and the Logic is loading, loading and loading...
I have to close Logic 8 because nothing happened in the next 10 minutes...

The bad thing is, it was working 2 or 3 days, now, nothing happened.. grrr..

I've started going through the manual alongside RMV and I'm really impressed with the scope of this beastie... okay, I'll admit it, it was worth the wait!

One display issue I've noticed: When a pad is assigned a type, the type name (under the pad name) starts a little too early, cutting off a part of the first letter.

Also I was wondering if it would be possible to include further drum types in the pad search in future versions? Types like Conga, Tambourine, Cabasa, Shaker, Bongos etc? This would make for the perfect Drum Sampler Library index.

Sorry if I missed this somewheres, but if a beta of the Mac version is available, does that mean I can buy it? It doesn't seem to be in the Linplug on-line shop.

I fully understand what beta means. What I don't understand is how one could get access to it - obviously via some form of licensing, and apart from from share/free/OS software, licensing usually involves some form of compensation, as in a purchase. I assume, but do not know for sure, that one could purchase the VST version and get access to the Audio Unit version. It's in development stage, like Peter wrote - the mac version won't available for purchase until they decide to release it. I'd be fairly sure that if you purchase it now, your license will allow you to download the beta from the full version directory where you could assist the beta development process, and maybe you'll even find a bug yourself!

Peter... I might have touched on this problem before in the Search functions but all of the fields in most the library browsers are hidden until you click on them... I couldn't see this bug in the version notes and I'm sure you're aware of it anyway... just wanted to make sure...

Upon further testing:

If you go to the Kit or browser, the kit information is hidden.

If you go to the Pad or the Groove browser all the information is visible in yellow.

Also, I'm getting quite a few 'missing sample' error messages when loading up loops although they tend to load completed after the message (and a couple from the included kits though these look like they are missing).

AU not working on OS X 10.4.11 (MacBook Pro)

Host (Ableton Live 7.10) crashes when closing projects with RMV Vst.
Before the crash there is an error message (Which I can not recall right now, but something about not able to save config file.. this message appears also when deleting RMV from a project)

... The same error/error message occurs in Logic 8.

A new beta would be good btw

Hmmm... I can't get the Mac beta to even load on 10.5.5, Logic 8.0.2? Crashes AU val and cannot be manually enabled. Loaded on Syncro too... Hoping to try this out soon!

Its there, we just jumped over 5.0.1 and have the same functionality as on PC now. Actually, if no bugs pop up we finally can offer the same as on PC.
