YOu da man Christian! This is an awesome plug-in thanks.Christian Budde wrote:Well, there wasn't one until now
You made me think, whether it actually _is_ useful to add a version info to the plugin.
I uploaded the plugin as installer / zip again.
Other changes:
- knobs are more robust against too rapid mouse movements (In some rare conditions it happened that the mode was switched accidentially on rapid mouse movements)
Rubberfilter - extreme filter with up to 384dB/Oct!

This filter rules supreme.
Thanks.

Great Tool! I have been looking for a filter like this.
My main application will be brickwall HiPass to remove subbass artifacts. Definitely static - no automation.
DAW: Ableton Live
To avoid redoing the same things when opening a new instance, I save it as Ableton's Effect Rack, with already preset:
Hipass
Link ON
and two knobs for controlling:
Left Lowcut Freq
Left Lowcut Order
This Automapped to Nocturn Controller, I would also assign a button to toggle Rubberfilter's power on/off.
Advantages are fantastic - you get a completely plug and play effect - ready to use within 1 second, especially with automap.
However, there is one difficulty.
In stereo link mode, the Right filter follows left only if changes are made with mouse on plugin's GUI.
If you use AUtomap's signals or Ableton's knobs - the Right channel remains unchanged.
To improve that I guess that technically it is a matter of a slight code modification plus whatever goes with it - packing, info on the web etc., so I am aware, that it may not be your life's priority to perfect the fx to ppl's liking. But should you open the source code for some reason, please remember to make Right mirror Left in Linked also when the gui is not touched.
In any case, many thanks for this cool and useful rubber filter!!

I noticed the same thing when using Chainer to modify filter in the "parameter" rather than the GUI mode. Is there a way to make them link in both cases? Either way, this is a fantastic piece of freeware that I use on almost every mix I do on a PC.

I completely forgot about such possibility. Thanks.
So with ableton it works. With external controller - it doesn't. Unless it is possible to control with one knob two VST knobs.

I really really like RubberFilter but i have issues with orion.
I am not speaking about automations just static brickwall stuff.

The main issue I have (and I think this is a known issue) is that sometimes when adjusting the slope, there is a sudden spike during the change. So, I generally have to keep a limiter on the track if I'm adjust settings.

Hey, great plugin! Unfortunately I still have the "plugin-preset do not save" problem in FL Studio 9.1. Everytime I reload the project, Rubberfilter changes the preset to default. Can I do something to solve this problem?

Hm, unfortunately that's indeed no perfect solution. Nevertheless thanks for the tip. I would appreciate more solutions as well.

Hi,
I just updated the plugin to use the latest VST framework. This fixed several bugs and issues.
It has been confirmed to be working by Tagirijus, but there is still the chance that other rare hosts might have problems with this plugin.
Also I took the chance to compile a 64-bit native version. While this implied further changes, it is still in a (private) beta version until it can be proven to work for the majority of 64-bit hosts.
Kind regards,
Christian
