You know, I too hate involuntary music. I can't stand having music I don't like blaring at me whenever I walk down the wrong street. It seems to me that this is a form of noise pollution.

It is an a lot of places have laws against it. Me? A simple iPhone fixes the problem most of the time.... now if I could just get our favorite sushi place to stop playing horrible music... these are the problems of people with no real problems.

where I live there's 1. But I haven't visited it yet.
I do visit an asian restaurant that plays very low-level odd music and has an ok 'tofu with hot peppers' dish.

Yes and no.

It's trivial compared to watching your sister get killed in an 'honor killing' or being the victim of ethnic cleansing. Chinese water torture seems pretty trivial too, at first. But try putting up with it day after day after day, and those little drops of water start to feel pretty f**king big.
