TNZ - liquid notes

A soundtrack type piece of music, inspired by the tilt-shift time-lapse videos of Keith Loutit (worth a look imo).

.. and also my first play with Philip Glass type repeating patterns - which I think came out ok'ish, but hoping to do better next time (this is a kinda guesswork before I did some actual study of his stuff).

It has 4 sections to accompany different themes, roughly.. sunrise, busy people in the morning, more people in the afternoon, evening. But you will have to imagine the video, or play it alongside one

Pretty, and kind of easy to get lost in. I'm not a Glass fan, but I understand what you are going for here and I think you did a decent job at recreating that sort of vibe.

Thanks Jazzy. I like Glass, but must admit, 10-15 minutes without harmonic progression can get a bit tiring.. Really like the Quatsi films though, think it works amazingly in that context.

I like the idea of producing electronic music textures that way too.
