it's vst until i move to a quieter area. i refuse to perform more than the most cursory of compositions meanwhile on principle.

for my generation, you hear this stuff and you know you're talking grandparent logic.

thank you, sascha.
I don't know what you are saying, even.
if you listen to it, it sounds discordant and disorganised, then theres a bit of melody at the end.
:?:

NB: there is melody throughout, tho it is somewhat, like 'harmolodic'...

I was pointing specifically to two (minute) spots, which, to my ear, somewhat mar the quite beautiful everything else. I wouldn't characterize those two notes as being part of 'the melody'. These two spots are prominent. If they weren't...

I am not old enough to have parented your parents I don't think. But, the style isn't something my father would have thought was terrifically far-out, if at all. He was born in 1926, same year as Miles Davis and Marilyn Monroe.

This is the one thing I've heard from any musician posted @ kvr I am a little bit jealous of, btw.

ah HA!

the spots I objected to, were from the bass part, which due to having to audition this in piss-poor circumstances, I couldn't separate from the guitar part, which is lovely.

Post

(mentioning it for others..) the bass is where i 'gave' up - can't hear it due to traffic, so i don't even know what the bassline is myself. it and the piano are far from finished parts. also as a public fyi, that's a korg z1.
