My Q out to the peeps who have the CM magazine is, since when is this pack included? I can offer the following CM DVDs: CM74, CM94 (Dec05) and CM96 (Feb06).

Since it's darn expensive for me here in Germany to get a new one (15bucks now! Import! Ripoff...), maybe I'm lucky and have this one already. Or do I need to bite the bullet and grab a more recent issue?

Thanks in advance.
I believe that they added it for their freeware issue last year (around mid 2007). And it is probably in each issue since then (don't have one to check).

Just checked. As of CM130 -
- What is SimulAnalog Guitar Suite CM?

It is a suite of vst plugin with amplifiers and analog processors for guitarists,
actually containing the simulation (*) of:
* Boss DS-1 (Distortion stompbox)
* Boss SD-1 (Super Overdrive stompbox)
* Tube Screamer (Overdrive stompbox)
* Oberheim PS-1 (Phaser stompbox)
* Univox Univibe (Modulations stompbox)
* Fender Twin 1969 (Guitar amplifier)
* Marshall JCM900 Dual Reverb (Guitar amplifier)
* Soldano X-88 (Guitar amplifier - exclusive to this special CM edition of Guitar Suite)

Looks like I need to get a back issue after all.

Whoa! I have a few back issues, and I never bothered to check out the installer; had no idea this was in there. Sweet! Exactly the kind of mid-heavy, vintage tone I needed to balance out the more modern JCM-900. (Both of which have better cleans than the Rednef Twin, btw -- that volume control is there for a reason!)
Wait... loot _then_ burn? D'oh!

Is it still on CM132 (the most recent), since there's Artillery2 on there (I guess VERY limited in comparision), though the samples are crap, which'd make CM131 more valuable to me.

Or is it on one of the more recent specials (other than 22)? Specifically CM Special 25 (the one about guitars)?

So yeah, if it's still on one of the mentioned issues, then CM will get a mail from me shortly with an order.

Just to bump this again.

But... has somebody CM Special 25 (the one with the guitar special), and if so, is there the SimulAnalog GuitarSuite (with the Soldano) on it?

I'm really lost here, no sign of that on official pages either. But if it's a guitar recording special, and it's on there, I want to backorder that issue more than a more recent one.

Just curious, but have you tried asking on the CM forums? They aren't as active as KVR, but somebody there may know for sure. Then again, it may not be worth waiting for an answer there. Sometimes it's quick, and sometimes it's a couple of days. I'm sorry that I don't personally have any applicable issues to check with.

I do know the lack of activity over at the CM boards. So I thought, maybe ask in here first before registering and trying it at the CM page.

So, anybody can chime in and help out?

I know I'm bringing up an old thread but this plug is in the cm vault, issue 182. It's a very nice, smooth, heavy distortion... certainly worth $5.
