I can't seem to load kits properly. It says: E: / Simsalabim .... not found, when I go to set up and tell them where to locate the samples it still gives me that error message. I bought the full version today. How do I fix this ?

Update: Never Mind I rebooted my PC and it seems to work fine now...

It crashes regularly Cubase 4.5.2 after a couple of minutes of use.
It automatically loads a preset called "Godzilla" or something like that. I cannot change this even if I choose another one from the Setup page. If I change my mind and don't want to have a preset selected when instanciated I cannot revert, that preset will stay there even if I delete it from the folder.

EDIT: Obviously PC, WinXP Pro.

I seem to get some crashes when the plugin is scanned or is loaded. I think it might be something to do with the syncrosoft authorisation, since it doesnt seem to happen if I open the LCC first.

after update rmv plays unmotivated and randomly pad sounds during playback in cubase 4.5.2;
even if there are no events send to the plug!
Whatever drumkit i use no difference.
It also happens without any part in the track(midi or instrument).
Problem is gone when i go back to 5.0
This makes it completely useless...

edit:
it is the internal groove. i can't unload it. i have to set the pad channel to something different from "all" to get rid of it.

I think i have the same effect with lates Version of Tracktion 3.0.4.8 and Mindprint Trio USB with Win XP on ao DualCore Machine.
loads OK in Samplitute9 SE

I had this same happen with Ableton Live 7.0.10 on XP, switched back to 5.0 as I had no idea what to do about it. I tried opening a fresh project file, with nothing sequenced, inserting just RMV and unloading it's groove..
something still triggers pads in a rather random manner.

Yes, there is a bug in the 501 that Audio loop leaks to the drum kit when you set the drum kits to MIDI channel All. Also it always loads that kit/loop which is a second bug, as the RMV at a certain point thinks its a demo and thus loads that stuff. Its fixed in 502 which is to be released very soon.

Using Sonar 8 ... installed the 5.0.2 update and when I do a VST scan, it gives an error.

However I can load it into Sonar. But when I am playing back and click on a pad, Sonar stutters a bit.

I'll get the exact error message and report back here. I shut down for the night and forgot to print it out (sorry).

SONAR 8.0.1 and RMV 5.0.2 here too.

I have a problem loading "thehump" drum kit, I get a "sample not found" error; the sample is "808Kick.D4T" (or similar).

Also, I have experienced SONAR crashing while loading a project with only a RMV and a Zebra2 instance. I don't have here the minidump, but will send it to you as soon as possible. SONAR reported a crash in RMV.dll.

Not a bug report or a complaint at all but, I'm still getting 27 second load time. Is this something that will be (or can be) fixed? Or is is this just a massive plugin that I will need to upgrade my computer to use properly?

WinXP (sp3), 1gb, AMD2000XP.

It's about 10 seconds loading time on a quad Q9550 (2.83 GHz) with 4GB RAM here ...

It seems every version brings a faster load time. But it just occurred to me that it might never get to 5 or 6 seconds on my computer. If that is not possible I'd consider I need to upgrade, which won't happen in the near future. Not complaining though. I know this computer is getting old.

same complaint as morelia - half a minute to load one instance and another 15 for each new instance? upto 50% cpu consumed on SYNSOPOS just before the screen shows the plug? that could seriously interfere if i want to drop a RMV in a running project..

this is a 2 year old coreduo@2.4 with 2GB ram, so i can't believe i'm experiencing resource shortages. do all syncrosoft locked plugs exhibit this behaviour?

other than this loading time issue i have no other problems with the RMV in use.
