i like the TB style knob.
A suggestion, use .PNG 24bit with transparency, better, smaller.

It's kind of stupid, but I still don't know how to remain nice shadows and achieve transparensity in PNG-format, so I'm using old-fashioned trashy masker

I can render in my 3d prog, let's take, a knob in white and black ... haven't found a transparent background yet.

to make the bgd transparent in .png, just make it white.

It doesn't work somehow in my case with my photoshop 7.0. I need some tutorial or a tip in which program you can make it that easy as you said...

Edit: Ok I've found a way to make it transparent without shadows in my 3d prog... may be it'll be possible with shadows then. thanks

dd_dBVU.sem

23 segment LED driver in 3db steps down to -60db, then 2 more leds down to -120. includes OVER led with reset, and held peak output.

get it here
(includes png files, and a prefab - needs sc:PeakFollow and DH_dBToVolts2)

I understand. I had a serious problem with my site that forced me to reinstall everything. New system in place, and I will repost my synthedit stuff in separate posts.

only positive values at the moment although I agree it would be handy to have both positive and negative input, and also, decimal places would be good too - I'll look at this at some point ...

One more option of a time set (in ms) for the peak led to unlit will make dbVU meter perfect, I think
