Yay - its finally out! Congratulations to Magnus on finally finishing it (its been a long time in development!), and also many congratulations for innovating and creating something really different from everything else that is out there

I'm not a synth-guy - and probably never will be, but man, was this fun to play around with.

That, btw, is how you do a demo... 3 weeks unrestricted, none of this annoying bs that starts a minute after you fire it up.
Interesting and innovative concept. For those so inclined it's a lot of fun to look at the sound making world from a different perspective. For those with a more fixed view of how things should be... well, at least try the demo, then let your preconceptions go and enjoy the flow.
$66 for µTonic users! Thanks Magnus, you're a classy guy.

Didn't like the sound. The oscillator and filter are too dead simple. The effects are OK, but I don't need a synth for effects. Visuals and control are interesting, but not so useful, and the direct control ("gene manipulation") is uncomfortable.

Another former tester here to say that this is one of the most fun synths I've played with in many years. Very useful for some of us who suffer from composer's block when creating synth-based tracks. Fun for the eyes and the ears. 10/10.

I'd also like to congratulate Magnus on the release. Been a tester on this for quite a while like a lot of the guys who already wrote a post here.
Synplant is very special and offers a new exciting way to work with sounds. Brilliant concept imho.

Funtastic ideas and realisation!
... and: 3 weeks fully funktional demo
... and: an implemented tutorial that explains perfectly how it works
... and: instant inspiration
... and: it sounds great
... and: well implemented midi-learn and forget
... and: the UI is beyond compare
... and: it's reasonably priced, incl. crossgrade for Microtonic-users and a cheaper bundle-price (Europeans have the tax-downer though)
ergo:
and hats off to the Lidstroems!
