Man! I am loving this thing. I like the fact that it breaks out of the box with it's gui.

By my own admission, I am not a synth programmer. I have a handful of patches I've programmed myself. I mainly use presets, and tweak them to taste.

I spent about 30 minutes playing with this thing this morning. I didn't even touch the included presets. I ended up creating 12 presets that are very usable for me.

I am definitely getting this thing on payday!

It's kind of like a whimsical version of Absynth, yes? :hihi:

Only one thing, where is the mono mode, legato , and porta?

Haven't had this much fun since, well... Atomic. It gets even more fun when you run a bunch of them each doing their own thing.
Available on iTunes, Amazon, etc.

I'm holding off on demo'ing Synplant because I'm a junkie for dumb, kitschy shit...

...and since uTonic got Tin Tonic, I see plenty of great opportunities to bundle Synplant with gardening supplies in the future. :hihi:

Damn! Nice to see so many had the same impression I did! :D

Dang! I now have 44 presets within just 2 hours of playing with this thing!

This is the most presets I've ever programmed with all my synths combined.

YOU, my friend, got the point of this thing.
It's not what you use, it's how you use it...

I wonder what easter egg Magnus has put in Synplant? I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's a Christmas wreath.

My vote for the most innovative GUI 2008.
I like this thing also for its low CPU.
No glitches when switching presets while playing.
Modwheel function is pure fun.
Preset management is perfect.
Demo limitation is the best that could be done for a demo.
Sound is really good, but nothing special if you own Zebra or Gladiator like me.
But hey I had my finger 2 times on the BUY button, because I could buy it just for its sexy GUI animations.
I will test it one more day and I'm sure: Resistance is futile  :help:
Anyway (if I will buy it or not):
Congratulation to this release - a new benchmark in synth design.

put your system date on december 25...(but you could have some problems with the 2 remaining weeks of trial use ).There are a kind of jumping ball...that trig the synth.
