Hi Leslie,

Your lines sound a bit strange to me :
Leslie Sanford on his website wrote: At first, I used an actual photograph of a TEAC VU Meter as the bottom layer
You sure had a lot of work replacing the original TEAC image but I did help you building the needle with shadow and red led lighting above 0dB, didn't I ?
Art60 - Posted: Sun Aug 17, 2008 4:12 pm wrote:here is a link to my VuMeter.knob
And not a word here or there to quote my name ... Rather strange, isn't it ?

But, for sure, you did the same as me, googled for a vumeter picture and build your VuMeter from it ... :D

I'm not angry at all, just tilted

Um, no. I had never seen your VU meter before now. I was inspired to do the VU by seeing one of Ouroborus's creations back on page 33.

We modeled the same VU Meter (from the same image, apparently). Not strange. A coincidence is all.
But, for sure, you did the same as me, googled for a vumeter picture and build your VuMeter from it ... :D
Yup. I googled and found the TEAC VU Meter. I decided to do it because 1) it looked easier than other VU meters I found, and 2) I used to own a TEAC four track years ago and the image brought back a bit of nostalgia.
I'm not angry at all, just tilted
For what it's worth, your VU meter turned out much better than mine. But I can assure you that I did not use your VU meter as a basis for my own. Again, I was not aware of it and did not download it until now.

Folks, is this going to be a problem? Surely we're going to come up with knob files that are similar to each other. Do we have to worry about stepping on each others' toes?

your knobs are amazing, ddsl. Thank you for sharing
