This package contains the following:

- dxshell.dll, a wrapper for directx effects(dx) for use in vst host applications.
- dxishell.dll, a wrapper for directx instruments(dxi) plugins for use in vst host applications.
- mfxshell.dll, a wrapper for midi fx plugins(mfx) for use in vst host applications, beware that not all mfx plugins may work with this wrapper.
- shell2vst.zip, a small tool which is able to convert so called "shell vsts" to standard vsts.
- this readme.txt

How to use:

1. Copy the dll files to your vst plugins folder.
2. If your host directly supports shell vst you are ready to use them from now

, if not you have to convert them at first with the shell2vst tool I mentioned above.

but curious...are there any standalone gizmos that are dx hosts?
or can i wrap them, and then use with savihost/vst host?
