...free for existing IK Multimedia users thru the "1 Million Installations Celebration".

I've yet to decide between this and the Ampeg SVX UNO on offer; any feedback on these? Curious about the CPU draw on the T-RackS 3 EQ...

I'm downloading the T-racks 3 EQ now. There wasn't much info but I'm guessing it's this? http://www.ikmultimedia.com/t-racks/int ... ssicEQ.jpg. It'd be awesome if it were the Pultec though.

That's the one...

Oo, I was wondering this already - thanks for the info! If I am recalling correctly, you can't use each TR3 effect without firing up the whole suite and racking only one component so this is likely a worthwhile freebie even if my other freebie was TR3 Classic.

I was asking in the other thread if this was in fact the EQ without the shell..I agree it would be useful but not if the whole shebang is attached..

Follow up on my original post:

Unfortunately this EQ, while based on the new T-RackS 3 GUI/algos, is not truly "discrete" as many were hoping. It is in fact "wrapped" in the now standard IK Multimedia shell; think of it as the full T-RackS 3 software with only one component (the Classic EQ) available (see elxicano's post for the screenshot).

Additionally, it installs all of the relative EQ presets as in the full version (EQ presets? For shame! But there are some "special effect" presets that could be useful).

Finally, the shell does feature all the fancy metering of the full version as well as the advanced oversampling/linear phase options. Surprisingly, the standalone app is also included, if you want to run your final 2mix *just* through the EQ :D

:bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: Well, it's a creepled version of AT2, only two amps and some boxes, no rack gear.

I chose this one thinking it was a something else, since i own the full version. I wish i had chosen the EQ. :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:
