Nothing special, just the instrument in of my M-Audio FW-410.wqasz wrote: What di or preamp did you use ?
Btw, I still want to update this setup (probably getting either a Motu Traveller or the new M-Audio halfrack FW box) because I think I sort of miss some sparkle and definition, but will only do so when moving houses in march. Unfortunately, as I'm on the road very often, I need to keep my setup compact, otherwise I'd probably get a dedicated preamp with SPDIF outs (I may do that anyways for the home setup).
Cheers
Sascha

slight hijack...
firstly tonight I got a chance to just sit and play guitar... The other italian company has a two for one special and I had been contemplating metal and jimi hendrix before I knew about this product.
So I spent time with my GR3, amplitube 2 and TH-1 and Pod Farm..
TWo hours later it was a complete no brainer. I bought the TH-1..
and really loving it.
Simone is there a plan to make Breverb similar in licensing?
In that we get an ilok and also license key use?
With Th-1 I was able to install it on my PC where I have an ilok and on my laptop where I use the licensing file and if I could do the same for breverb I would buy it.
thanks

Yes, we're planning for such a change, but I don't know when it could happen.zvenx wrote: Simone is there a plan to make Breverb similar in licensing?
Are you a BREVERB user too or just thinking about getting it?

I did too. I really liked the overall tone. There's a nice round crunch to the high end when it's overdriven. I love being able to do things like route fuzzboxes after cabs. Though the routing thing was a bit confusing. I couldn't see a way to choose routing schemes other than to find a preset that had something like what you wanted and then redo it. I must admit I didn't read the manual, but this type of thing should be obvious.Sascha Franck wrote:I had quite some fun playing with TH1 so far
I don't like the interface at all. It seems to try to show too much at one time and while you bypass some extra clicking it just seems like a mess. The bottom screen is kind of silly. I think POD Farm gets this right. Also, one amp head look for everything? That's a little lame even though it's just eye candy.
I'm still going to get on my soap box and yell about "in 2008 it's unforgivable that a commercial VST has no MIDI learn function." Why is this so hard?
Effects sound good, except for the pitch shifter. It's by far the worst I've ever heard. What the hell? The reverbs sound the best I've heard on a guitar amp simulator.
CPU is beautifully low. Great job on this.
Overall I think it's a great product... but I'm not sure it's in my future. I still think that Amplitube is a little better and covers more ground. (though at a considerably higher price) TH1 might be a good standby when I'm running out of cpu, and it's priced right, but I already have POD Farm as well and some great free stuff. Really what I want is Guitar Rig to sound like Amplitube... or even Overloud TH1 for that matter.
Congratulations on the great product. If this is V1 I can't wait to see what it's like when it's all growed up!

First day of the TH-1 demo here...I sat and played all day through it! This sounds AND feels like a real amp at last.
I've been doing some comparing with my Podfarm ...it just doesn't sound any good anymore on the heavy sounds. Maybe if I run a Podfarm amp through the TH-1 cabs it will sound better, that's next on my list to try.
I hope Overloud will model some of the better boutique amps, I've got a Diezel Herbert MKII that blows away the other contenders imo...you should model a Suhr Overdrive 100 as well as the other Diezel VH4, and Bogners too. That'd be a well-rounded hard rock list.
The TH-1 Modern amp is pretty kickass I must admit, my Podfarm Diezel sounds like shit in comparison now...
Also, if in a future version we could exchange speakers in the same quad, like V30s/G25s/H30s/EV12s...that would be a pretty cool feature I would use.
Oh, and the search function works with the cursor keys up and down, but NOT left to right through the variations...it should so we don't have to use the stupid mouse!
Great work Overloud! Bad for my wallet, but my ears thank you...

Just to add... I was playing this through a full range rig (Crown K2 into an Accugroove El Whappo bass cab - very flat sounding like a huge mono studio monitor)... the thump on the Modern is huge! Very realistic.
In fact my girl came into the room and wasn't sure if I was playing the Diezel or not! She was so impressed with the sound I gave her a turn.
Now I can't get her off it...

Simone, how long does it usually take to get the return email with registration. It's been over 24 hours so far since I sent my ilr file.

You know that fusion sucks? Who told you so? Sometimes nothing beats some oldschool bluesy fusion licks.Sascha Franck wrote:I know, fusion sucks, yet I had some fun just a while ago...

How do I attach the ilr file via the support form? I just did what I was told by the registration page. Sent the file to support at overloud dot comSimone Coen wrote:We found your sale: either you gave us a wrong email or the email got filtered by an antispam.

Actually, I love playing fusion. But I usually hate listening to it.shogger wrote: You know that fusion sucks?

Yeah, fusion can be easily cheesy. But there's some cool stuff that I really like. Though I'm not too sure if I use the style label correctly. E.g. is Allan Holdsworth's music fusion? When I grew up it was sold to me as jazz rock.Sascha Franck wrote:Actually, I love playing fusion. But I usually hate listening to it.shogger wrote: You know that fusion sucks?
