I think that these days, both "fusion" and "jazzrock" have a pretty negative branding plastered all over them. Maybe unfortunately. Maybe fortunately. I don't know.shogger wrote: E.g. is Allan Holdsworth's music fusion? When I grew up it was sold to me as jazz rock.![]()

Just tried out the demo and this is the one. I downloaded the Guitar Rig and Amplitube demos again to check them side by side and TH1 is such a clear winner. This one's got life and clarity. Does it all, jazzy bluesy cleans, excellent palm muted metal chunks, stays tight when you turn up the distortion. Saving up for a purchase, great job.

I always thought fusion was a musicians wet-dream
Frankly, I like it.....
@alan holdsworth:
That reminds me, I need a couple more fusion CD's for my mp3 player....AH may just be what I'm looking for.......

bought it 1 hour ago, this thing is just too amazing and i broke my rule to never buy a ilok protected software. as soon as i got my licencefile i knew why many people are for copyprotection. you feel special, the one chosen, you can fiddle around with it and you knew not every kid outthere can do it.
that gave me to think: all people who say they like to have ilok or whatever hard to get around protection just wanne feel special. so don't believe them when they say it's practical or whatever. it's still some piece of additional sh**t that sits on your pc taking space and resources. you don't need that stuff. th-1 so good that me and many others will feel you deserve to be paid and i would like to get rid of that fu**ing tpkt driver.
looking forward to a quick update for the "left & right keys" to work on the search window as it's damn cool to switch such fast between all the presets
greetings
christian

If this is the sort of run around I get when I have just purchased, what can I expect if I change computer components at short notice and need a new code on a weekend or other holiday?

I tested Gearbox/Podfarm today, just the amp head straight out into TH-1's cabs...MUCH much better imo. The problem is obviously the cab sim in Line6, it sounds a bit fake and boxy compared to the TH-1 setup (I used the default close-miced setup with the Royer121 on one side and the Fet47 on the other speaker).
In fact, my favourite sound now is the TH-1 Modern Amp on one track, and the Diezel sim from Gearbox (Deity's Son)into the TH-1 cab on a second track...now that sounds phat and juicy!
A couple of us on Reaper are gonna test some real amps line out into the TH-1 cabs next...we'll keep you posted.
Simone, the name TH-1 is ghay. I think you should change the name to:
'I Can't Believe it's an Amp Simulation'

I got it registered. But you probably should look into the system you have. The authorisation screen says to send a file to support @ but I got nothing back after doing that twice. I went to the Overloud site and by chance I noticed I can register there. After registering I read I should expect an email with the registration file attached but that never arrived. I have no spam filter. Unless you can suggest where Windows might block the email with the attachment.

Correct. You get one iLok license to use anywhere, and three separate C/R installs.MelodyMan wrote:Just to check: I-lok is not needed for this one, no? There's also a possibility for challenge/response i understand?

this thing sounds and looks amazing... too bad about the copy protection though. i can't buy products that use pace after the nightmares i've had with cycling 74.
this time i'm really going to miss a product because of pace.

simone.
how about making the program modular?
maybe sell individual
-amps
-effects (stomps, rack)
or, and here is my plea
-the cabinet and mic section.
For all us guys owning real life hardware (preamps, poweramps, etc) this would be the shizzle.
I tried my preamps (Engl e520, Damage Control Demonizer, Mesa Studio pre) via my Power amp with power soak into th1's Cab sim... it rawks. very hard.
Maybe you could sell more, if you tailored to customers wishes?
the doc.
