I think a tabbed approach for the UI would be appropriate at this point given all of the controls in each section.
To the right of the main image area there could be several tabs:
Layout | Color | Mask | Lighting Effects
Instead of scrolling to get to the controls you need, simply click on the tab to get to them.

but yes, it would be nice if we could have these specular lighning fx aswell, not knob based ... there could also be different types of them in a drop down menue ... that would be cool ...

On further testing I find making a new layer copies everything but the primative parameters. After making a new layer and seeing it copied these I tried again, making a new layer. I made the new layer with the same setting as the first and make the previous layer going from the black square to a shape icon, but did not change the primative layer setting.Hlis93 wrote:What I find it that it will make a new layer without coping the above layer. I downloaded this KnobMan v.1.27 yesterday. Nice tool but ...
... is there a memory leak since after running it takes 99% of CPU resources and same time starts reserve memory quite fast? I think this came when I started SkinMan while KnobMan was running (or vice versa). Now KnobMan won't work at all ... just shows up in system process list. (SkinMan v. 0.89 works well if that information helps)
My system: P4/XP Pro sp3

thanks for the report. i have confirmed (1) and (3). the (2) may be related to (3)? could you tell the certain file if that is one of sample file or .knob on this thread?
i intend to release for bug-fix soon.
And.....
Im still not sure which approach should be taken, 'Scrolling' or 'Tabbed' for effects parameters. anyone have opinion?
