Why do you create music? Is it for personal self-expression? If so, what are you trying to express?

All of the above and more 
Everyone has something to say, but first you have to find your (inner) voice, let go of the fear. Maybe that hasn't happened yet? It took me 38 years to find mine. Now I have a burning desire to write music and produce art, a certain understanding where none existed before, of which words alone cannot do justice.
... the inexpressible "it" is reason enough to write music or make any kind of art ...

There may be very little point to a lot of my stuff but I have to make it

So i guess for me the point of my tunes is to quiet the noises I hear in my head

i started making music as a youngin because it felt good (back to the point). i slapped some lyrics on my tunes to try to influence the masses.....
