Great synth ... I had one in my studio for a few years. It's all over the first album I did with Ashfelt.

The first reflection side panels are not in the photos, but they will be placed at the listening position and then also behind the listening position.

All are done with glassfiber panels of 4" thickness and same density as Owens Corning 703. All have exposed sides for maximum effectiveness. Here's what a side panel looks like (before the legs were painted black):

Awesome! Where did you get the fibreglass panels.

Thanks!

I ordered them from some company in Shanghai. I dug through a ton of hits in a Chinese building construction products website, called a bunch and asked for specs and price, and then decided on one. It'll be far easier to find the panels in more developed countries. Basically any kind of fiber panel would do (you want at least somewhat rigid so it doesn't hang too limp), as long as it's the same density as the Owens Corning 703 (48k), 4" thick, and spaced 4~6 inches away from the walls (for maximum performance absorbing down below 100Hz). The superchunks are simple (but uses up a lot of panels)--just cut to triangle and stack.

For the fabric I used typical burlap. The weave is not too fine, and I used two layers so it's not so see-through, yet still very breathable. The idea is to allow sound to still pass through easily, but the weave is tight enough to contain all the glass fibers from escaping into the air (and into your lungs).

Pretty simple in mine (finally got round to taking the camera upstairs and taking some photos).

There's another wall with a ton of stuff on it including other smaller instruments, but there's also a bunch of crap too, so I didn't bother.

very cozy indeed -- I should redo my habitat with better colors and lighting -- but knowing me, it's not too likely to happen

luckily I live mostly in my head, so it's not much of an issue ;)

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

okay I see there's an empty guitar stand and a guitar leaning against a desk, can we assume somewhere someone is sitting on your keyboard stand?
