EnergyXT 2.07 demo does not work at Linux

Sometimes, it writes:

Program starts, but doesn't output any sound. Transport pointer moves and indicators show that tracks generate signal. Meter in right top corner also shows that signal is generated.

I am using Ubuntu Intrepid amd64, 2.6.27-9-generic #1 SMP. ALSA uses snd_ice1712 (M-Audio Audiophile 2496).

Take a look at your audio settings. Post them here.

Device: M Audio Audiophile 2496
Buffer size: 256 (1024 also doesn't work)
Sample rate: 44100
Record: 16-bits

Temp audio folder: blank

Audio inputs:
(list is empty)

Autio outputs:
audio out 1, checkbox checked
audio out 2, checkbox checked

had this problem but switching to jack enabled libaam.so and jack solved all the problems and xt2 is working just fine
