A bit of 'chain yanking' going on here maybe
The current available GUIs are good enough to create single presets within a track for most people.
Any news on Branis's GUI btw?
jokes.

They are already available ?!
The LimeFlavour, Gsoto and Branis's ones ?
I just come back from your site, when i click on "screenshot", i get only this :
http://xhip.cjb.net/xhip/releases/0/6/1 ... 6.16.3.png
And i don't see any link on the first page of this thread.
Isn't there a place where to give an easy access to all seven of them ? (sorry but if it isn't either on the first page of the thread or on your site, i won't dig into 80 pages of forum).

i was actually working on the code for the site to add that stuff to the releases page since having it just in the folder list was too messy.
http://xhip.cjb.net/xhip/releases/xhipg ... r2.xhipgui
i think..
the branis one and gsoto are being worked on, i could quickly do the gsoto one after i work out some issues with the branis one's dropboxes (since the issues will also be in the gsoto one) but gsoto is working on a new layout the next time he feels like it so it depends who jumps to do it first.
i guess limeflavour has been busy since he hasn't gotten back with his edits yet, he probably needs time to learn the coding skills a bit more as well.
the main issue is that the next things on the todo list need to be finished and a new releases needs to be made before the guis will really be stable. i might do that this december, we'll see.
you see, that's the thing. people bugging me works, but when you bug me about something that is waaaaaay down the list it won't accomplish much. you have the branis gui, the limeflavour gui and so on now - but you can't use them in a stable way until all those other things on the list get done. the todo list is in a specific order for a reason - i know what i'm doing when i write the list. each thing on the top is required, the thing next down the list depends upon the things above it.
sometimes things can be re-ordered, but it results in trouble like we have now. the gui stuff actually _used_ to be below "write official configuration and installer"...
*hint hint*, try bugging me about the things on the list, or moving other things around rather than bugging about the guis which are too far near the bottom.
http://xhip.cjb.net/xhip/todo/
it would also help if people would be technical about it, like discussing the event routing file format and that sort of thing. one of the reasons xhip isn't getting much work done recently is i just don't care. i don't use xhip, coding it was a hobby for a long time. now i'm a bit bored with it, there are no really useful features being worked on and i'm aimless. i have my list of things i need to do, i know how to do the eventrouting stuff but i'm just not motivated. combine that with having a lot less free time plus having much, much more entertaining stuff to do and you get what we have now.

If anyone uses my skin(s) there's a small update available here:
http://xhip.cjb.net/temp/public/2008120 ... hipgui.rar
-Thicker sliders
-Removed Unisonramps slider, not yet implemented properly I belive.
-Ctrl+Left mousebutton resets the slider to default value.
The new "reset slider" command won't work on the knobs. I'll upload a fix for that tomorrow.

Is it possible to change the colors of the backround image of that branis gui? Or are they hard coded to somewhere? Or is there just some jpg or something like that image? and?
Also I would like to heartly thank aciddose. He kept developing xhip and has shown enormous patience with people. Also he has shared his expertise and provided good insight to threads like the eh the oscillator thread. Also many projects like this are abandoned by the dev before completion!

I'm using the xhip 0.6.16.5 version and have none of those problems with the gui.
I had the issue kriminal has posted before I switched to the "less stable" version but it's not really unstable.
http://xhip.cjb.net/xhip/releases/
Go there try with the [latest revision] download.

needz more xhip... erm... cowbell..

i'm tweaking the cutoff on the "male" patch. you can pretend it says "what? what's up?" then the higher, nagging female voice says "WE'RE GONNA NEED TO COOK MORE HOTDOGS!", and he replies "oh...".
