NEKRO.MACHINE wrote:I caught them twice and i agree mate they were very good and funny too (especially Adam D of course!)

The Two Bands for me personally whom i seen countless times and they always sound unreal is 1: Machine Head (even though they got a few shite records their shows absolutely tear the place down over here VST :tu: ) and 2: Lamb Of God (pretty much the same deal except they have much less crap in their back catalogue than Machine Head and always fire on full cylinders!)

Thanks for the good news my friend and hope things are sweet for you at the moment

Dean/Nekro/The UnHoly Diver 8)

Edit: BTW the Unearth, Despised Icon, Whitechapel, Architects and Parkway Drive was really good and Unearth had a new drummer whom played really well and they were tight (which begs the question 'what's big Gene Hoglan upto at the moment?' as SYL are not gonna do anything anytime soon if ever so i wonder what he has planned? Hhhmmmm could be intresting maybe he could join Decapitated as Vitek sadly passed away - now that would be sick  (but sheer rumour on my part) If i hear anything i will let you know VST

Keep it Steel \m/ ;)
Saw Machine Head (for the first time) at the Mayhem Festival this year. Very kick ass live, always liked Machine Head. Also saw LOG (for the first time) at Ozzfest last year. Awsome live also, but they were on mainstage instead of the second stage. So it was'nt as intense. I hope there is a SOTU next year, as the 07' one kicked mucho ass. :-o And yes, Adam D. is beyond hilarious bro. :D The shite that comes outta that dudes mouth killz me every time. :hihi:

So what has happened to SYL? Did they break up ur sumfin'?

The new All That Remains is good. Mudvaynes' new CD iz good too, IMO.
Did u check out Embrace the End, yet? I gotta some other good/crazy ones, check out, War From A Harlottes Mouth, Sikth(UK based), Sylosis(Also UK based) and Anterior . Hope things are all well and good on your end to bro. 8)

Later :)

War From A Harlottes Mouth i have an EP, A Split and An Album by them (They are good and the lyrics are amusing too), Sikth (got an EP and both full lengths by these loons, the emo singer is a bit annoying at times but the drummer is top class and the bass player is pure primus/les claypoool style slap, i have seen Sikth twice now IIRC they were supporting Machine Head one of those times). I heard some Embrace The End on totalrock radio and i enjoyed them and they sounded a bit like Suicide Silence which is cool (they have like a deathcore sort of afternoon here and their and its a good station - www.totalrock.com if you want to try it out). Sylosis i have not heard but i will check them out for sure mate thanks for the tip off. Got the latest All That Remains, actually i have four albums by them so i think that is their entire discog AFAIK and they are quite underatted. Will check Mudvayne's lastest too :tu: cheers VST (if you have not heard Glass Casket before i think you will like them - its a side project of one of the guitarist's from Betweeen The Buried And Me and is more brutal. If you cant find anything i will sort you out a few tracks mate)

Well SYL - i think Devin got sick of it and all the touring too as you know he likes doing his production work and also to make time to devote too his other projects. It was not a bitter split or anything like that or even officially announced as a split, more like "were just going to do our own things and we may or may not do some more SYL in the future and all this was said just before releasing 'The New Black' album which they toured real hard farewell style. Devin said he was sick of playing the mad scientist/genius type guy that was his persona in SYL and that SYL had become too big/popular and he was happy but burnt out it all  So i think its an indefinate hiatus type thing and then after that a 2CD 'best of' was put out by Century Media (maybe SYL had to that to get out of their contract? well i think thats why it came out). Then about 8 months later i see him dressed in a wierd purple outfit and a puppet on his arm which he made himself and called as you know 'Ziltoid' and released an even crazier record than anything he has done before apart from his sub bass drone stuff which is only available on his website IIRC and i can not remember what its called. So that is all i know on the matter (but like i said it definately is not a split which is of course good news :) )

Speak to you soon friend and best regards

Dean :)

Did'nt sound Emo to me, the singer I mean. I really like em' because they bring interesting stuff to the flooded Metal table. "Bland Street Bloom" is awesome. Then I read on their site their no longer together

Suicide Silence is decent. Not too spectacular, imo. I think Embrace The End is waaaayyyy better :)

OMFG

Can I pleeeze have Tobybear's Silverbox?
Toby's site has been offline for maintenance for likes aions, and I am not even sure if this one was available from there lately
Spacedad has upped the funbag basic which contains Silverbox not long time ago (last two weeks I reckon).
Uhm... I'm afraid it's not there any more... at least, spacedad's link just ends on the filedropper.com's frontpage
:(
Here you go JazzFranco, I have reuploaded the whole archive, Funbag, Modbag and Whackobag basic.

Can the Melda pluggies be shared ?

MCompressor
MEqualizer
MRingModulator
MAnalyzer
MPhaser
MLimiter
MWaveShaper
MAutopan
MVibrato
MTremolo
MStereoExpander

http://www.meldaproduction.com/

Reason I am asking is because the damn installers won't run on my Windows Millenium machine and they also cannot be unpacked.

But maybe the pluggies themselves will run OK.

Anyone willing to up them in a zip if the licence permits it ?

Ok, 3 of 26 are there. How 'bout the others?

Post

VSTJuNkiE - i will save space by not re-requoting mate  So here goes:

Hey man ;) Byzantine yep got 3 albums by those dudes and they are really good. This Ending will check out and The Human Abstract also. Got two records by The Abscence and all of Soilworks Back catalogue!

Sikth - try their first album 'The Tree's Are All Dead And Dried Up...Wait For Something Wild' and you will hear much more of the emo guy but way sicker in the head mental songs than on the Death Of A Dead Day album as that was more consistent :), Embrace The End comment was after only hearing a few tracks - when i grab a record by them and had some proper time too listen im sure i will agree friend and i agree SS are alright.

Ok last two from me for a while which i think you will dig as we both got a decent list of bands to checkout for the moment:

Terror2000 - sort of like a super group of swedish death/thrash with bjorn 'Speed' Strid from Soilwork on Vocals, One of Darkane's Guitarists, Construdead Bassist and a sick drummer. Really good stuff with funny ass lyrics too

Textures - Like Meshuggah's bastard sons but at the same time not a Meshuggah rip-off group. They are from holland and highly recommended :tu:

And yeah your magware will taste all the better since you waited for it for so long dude, Patience is a virtue and you will be rewarded bro - Enjoy

Take it easy and catch you soon mate

Dean/The Nekro Mullet Of Steel
