Anyone know how to flip the interface to match the image on the site
So that the lighting effects are below the layer preview because at the moment here they have dissapeared off the bottom of my screen entirely
Cheers

drag the left border of the preview window to the right, a scrollbar should appear, so you can scroll down to them ...

Is it possible to bring an image in and trace it?
I'd like to potentially take pictures of a few components at work and model them in KNOBMAN. Will make it easier if I could potentially trace it.

You can import a bitmap image in test mode and place it under your knob with mouse !CUNKA wrote:Is it possible to bring an image in and trace it?

- Preference, background section, use bitmap in 'test mode' 'file' to browse disks'.

Now I can put all those electrical substation switches into KNOBMAN.
If I can get some high quality pictures of old 70's Nuclear facilities... I'll look at doing some of them... sky is now the limit... err.. maybe space is!.
BTW: I'd like to thank all those who have submitted there .knob files to date, its helped me learn a lot of using this package.

Ver 1.29 released
http://www.g200kg.com/en/software/knobman.html
* Improved New effect parameters layout instead of scrolling
* Improved Texture file management (for the case of tons of textures installed)
* More accurate shape import from .svg files
* BugFix: Recent open file list is not properly updated in some cases
Effect paremeters layout is changed. I had test the tabbed layout but I think that has a problem of the browsability. I thnk this expand/close button solution is the best.

Thanks a lot for knobman!
I was using a earlier version for a few weeks and i believe that it was much better when all the options where on one screen without having to scroll down to see the shadowing part, it is a bit confusing in my oppinion. Also, as it was before, you worked faster because you didn't have to scroll or resize the panel in any way to be able to see all the controls, that was really cool
Anyway, Thanks again!!! I am grateful for Knobman.
Cheers,
Theo

When all effect options are on the screenspace required is more than I have avaiable (1280x800px laptop) and I don't see any scrollbar so I'm not able to scroll down either. I know I can just minimize some of the effect windows but as the poster above I have the same feeling about having everything in reach on one screen, as it was before. Is there a hidden scroller for these windows or is that not yet implemented?
Also want to thank g200kg for this terrific program!

@g200kg
hi, thanks for update.
I have tested shape import. It doesn't work for me. Same way than before.
When saved with Inkscape (v0.46) doesn't load with Knobman and when saved with Knobman, doesn't load with Inkscape.
And, when saved and load with Knobman, KM add a point above the first point of the shape.
