I always dream of posting all my ambient down-tempo songs in the cafe every day.

then I ran at a brickwall head 1st and actually found that more satisfying, nothing like a brickwall limiter..

I wrote about 50 songs over the course of two years that I totally hated.
I hate the sound of my singing voice, even though I can sing on key
I have too much equipment in my music room, and it stifles creativity.
I have logic 8 and dont like it, but for some reason keep it.
I watch hillary duff videos in the buff
I have drummers tourettes syndrome when I try to play a fill, it sounds like I had a seizure
I dont really have alot of interest in music lately, yet its the first thing I do when I have free time
I cannot play very well when Im drunk or in front of other people
I still think that the rick rolling binge against the forum leading to my 7 day ban was hilarious!!
I have written 3 alpha vst effects using hodgpodged dsp code nicked from various places, and use them in all my music.
I probably wouldnt make an effort to replace my equipment if it were stolen, save for one electric guitar, acoustic guitar, a bass guitar and a midi keyboard.

I Make all my music on a macintosh computer running windows vista, and get a kick at mac vs pc threads...

(1) I think Sylenth1 is way overrated and overpriced.

(2) I never use the "swing" feature when quantizing.

(3) The fact that the Prophet 08 is analog was not a major factor in my decision to buy one.

This is completely anonymous, right? I don't want people to harass my family or call the cops on me, especially for that first confession. :scared:
Logic Pro | LUNA Pro | OB-X8 | Prophet 6 | OB-6 | Trigon 6 | Rev2 | TEO-5 | Pro 3 | SE-1X | Minitaur | Integra-7 | TR-1000 | Analog RYTM mk2 | Digitakt 2 | TD-3 MO | TD-3 | Maschine+

I've been friggin' hurt for the past three years and have not been able to play/record. The doctors made my condition(s) worse. I might have easily gone pro quite a few years, ago. Right now, I'm trying to deal with it. KVR is my way of staying involved to a degree. (This is why I haven't posted anything up. :? ) Sorry, I cannot talk about my injuries...legal stuff.
I've got nothing to sell...am I on the right site?

Alright:

I buy far too many overdrive/fuzz/distortion/boost guitar pedals, the cheapest two of the lot £35 sound practically the same as the £250+ ones. Yet i will buy more

I buy far too many guitars than i need, All very similar. Yet i will buy more

I buy far too many guitar amplifiers than i need. Yet i will buy more

I am obcessed with pickups, humbuckers to be precise and i buy more than i can fit into all my guitars

I have to use the same gauge of plectrum and string brand and gauge, if i do not have them it does not feel or sound right

As soon as i buy something i pretty much always take it apart if possible to see if i can customize it/tweak things to suit my needs better

I am obcessed with guitar speakers and buy more than i can fit into my speaker cabinets and combos

I use a 1x15 and sometimes even a 1x18 with a 4x12 because it gives me more brutal

I tune down to ridiculous depths that i have had to drill through all my machine heads so the gauge strings i prefer fit

I love talking about guitars and everything which goes with the territory

I used to put myself through stupid practice regime's daily but it got out of control so i am much more backed off about it now but old habits die hard and i relapse often

I am an insomniac, 6-years and counting

I got bored of kidknapin' with the old white rag for smoothering victims and well the chase frankly started to bore me. So now i always get my own way and im quite a ladies man too!

This could all come back to haunt each and every one of you. :hihi:

I never really listened to much trance and dance growing up, and I sure as hell don't listen too much now. I'm also a fan of John MellenCamp and Jefferson Starship...

( edit )

But I love all music, and all styles of music, and I definitely enjoy the music I am trying to make nowadays.

I also like Cubase and Halion Symphonic Orchestra and The Grand 2

I play concertina and mandolin with a local Pirate re-enactment group.

I quite like sea shanties.

I prefer Busted to Chopin.

I prefer putting my testicles in a blender to Britny Spears, however I prefer Britny Spears to Bach.

I hate people who babble on about music theory.

I'm far to lazy to learn music theory

I'm 53 on Thursday and am still wondering what I'm going to do when I grow up.
The music means nothing if the audience is deaf..........
