I didn't know you could make music with a computer until about 4 years ago.

-Apparently I've totally lost my interest in music with the (occasional) exception of making it myself and then it bores me to tears. I couldn't think of any band/act/genre/event I'd pay money to see live or listen to recordings of.

-I hardly ever finish a tune and when that happens, I don't get any satisfaction out of it.

-I never understood the notion that some synths sound better than others.

-I frequently utilize ripped mp3 as samples and don't think my music sounds the worse for it.

1) I like ABBA
2) I like 80s music
3) I hate almost every single UK rock/prog/whatever band. They're all shit copies of bands and genres that were crap to start with

actually, I'm not embarrassed about that last one at all

Given some of the posts on here I feel I should bite back the shame and confess the following.

I still love music in it's many and varied forms and my life wouldn't be complete without an almost continuous musical backdrop.

Music still has the power to send shivers up my spine and to bring a tear to my eye.

I have finished 10 tunes in the past few weeks and I actually like all of them and am very happy with the way they have turned out.

I am a happy and optimistic person who spends most of the day with a smile on my face.

I feel very sad that so many people on this site don't feel the same.
The music means nothing if the audience is deaf..........

My frying pan isn't an Emeril LeGasse or Martha Stewart Custom... it's a cheap knockoff. And I don't even own a tube amp to play it through.

I think those brands are overpriced. I have a cheapy from Walmart that has some dings and burned on grease stains, but it sounds great with some reverb on it.

Hi guys

I've been away for a while but it's good to be back and to find that the frying pan collective is still alive and well.
